Chavez entourage are assholes you got that right! I also knew Hector hes a good guy. I met Gabriel Ruelas a couple times and he was cool the 1st time, him and Chico Castillo(formerContender) took a picture with me and my Ex. But the second time I met Gabriel he acted like I was irritating him. Carbajal didnt seem to cool either i was going to go up to him one time and he looked at me as if to say i dont want to be bothered bro. Met Aaron Pryor really cool dude, also Ken Buchanan met him int the Elevator at the Bonaventure at the WBHOF banquet and he was cool and feeiling No pain He was probably even more cool than usual as he was happily drunk and he was wearing a kilt, So was kind of funny to see an ATG great drunk in a skirt That was the day WBHOF inducted him.
pacquiao is very cool. i met the guy three times in 2 years. he remembered me after the second time. i guess i really stand out because he was shocked that a chinese guy was such a big fan of his. he isn't just making his country proud, he's making the whole asia proud. we talked about everything from his vacations to hong kong, to music, and culture shock between the east and the west. i've never had the honor of meeting mosley but looks fun to be around and mild mannered. i've met klitchko and he's really cool. he's really a gentle giant. i use to train in the same gym as andre ward and he's as sweet and mellow as they come. you often often what these gentle souls are doing in such a rough and tough biz.
Currently, I'd say Librado Andrade. Just an honest, genuinely good dude. I'm surprised the guy in my avatar is yet to be mentioned.
Yeah we know, you already stated that in a post. Why quote someone else after? Need someone to hold your hand? No doubt more will join in hoping to be a part of somethingatsch Everyone got a fear of their opinion not being agreed upon or something? Once one comes out, more and more join in. Anyway Tszyu, Hatton, Mosley, Haye, Arguello, Bruno, Ali on first thoughts I can't pick just one.
True, but he's just keeping it real. But yeah, he could try to be more professional in interviews. It could just be his adrenaline or something.
From personal experience? Shane Mosley. Very nice, genuine sort of dude. Wish he realized there's no law that requires 24/7 smiling though.
tyson seems likable because he's so honest about his past the things he did wrong and regret. he can also be pretty charming and funny when he wants to be. even when act's like a wild man you still say to yourself, well he's been through a lot and has issues, and he probably didn't take his medication, and that's not the real him. or at least that's what i'm thinking when i see him go off.
I met him at the VIP afterparty at the WBHOF banquet, its really cool everyone up there is either involved in the buisnes or were former greats and current fighters really cool you get to rub shoulders with a whos who in boxing. Shane didnt go and i dont think he drinks, but his dad sure does:yep There was over 100 people up there in the Luxury suite. I have a friend on the WBHOF board of directors and he will usually give me a pass, One year Mando Muniz (another super cool fighter)gave me some tickets. Havent been there in about 6 years but will definitly go this year, i use to go every year for awhile.
All the guys mentioned are good choices. One that hasn't been mentioned is Migue lCotto. Almost shed a tear for him saturday when they did the 10 count for Don Miguel.
he was so classy after that first controversial bute fight. i would have gone zab judah on that referee.
