Cotto is going to look terrible @ 154. Foreman is a horrible style & will win easily.

Foreman's style is horrible for Cotto, especially given the height and boxing skill disparity. Cotto wasn't even big as a junior welterweight and I know for a fact he doesn't hit harder than Daniel Santos at 154. On top of all that, Yuri can box, is slick and move very well. No way in hell can I imagine that Cotto is feeling very mentally fit right now after being utterly destroyed by a midget. He was getting rocked and outboxed by guys like Malignaggi, Judah, Corley, N'Dou, Shane, etc. And this was at JW and WW.

One on hand if Foreman blasts him out then it should give Cotto some time to reconsider his options and retire rather than take any further punishment. Cotto will get tagged a lot over the long haul of this fight and it won't do him any favors. Foremen wil win this easily. Someone in Cotto's team keeps dropping the ball and it appears they won't realize it until Cotto takes another life altering beating.

I figure similarly. Foreman is just bad for Cotto.

    I agree.

He's going to be out of his elements at 154. I think Foreman wins a wide UD. He is pretty slick and fast on his feet.

Thats Bob Arum throwing Cotto to the wolves to raise the stock of his young new champ in Foreman.

Foreman does not hit that hard. I hope Cotto has not taken too many punches, hope his health is still OK.

Clearly you don't know what you're talking about. Cotto was ****ing huge for JWW. Maybe not in height, but he typically came in at 160 or 155...usually outweighing his opponent by a good 5 to 7 pounds...sometimes even 10.

This may be true, but Foreman got by a rusty and lazy as **** Santos...if you knew or followed ANYTHING of Santos' career...you'd know that Santos wasn't even in that fight. He looked confused...almost as if he forgot how to box and spent the entire fight learning each punch as he threw them.

His father just died and he's looking to make a huge statement in his name. It was reported that he was shadow boxing in the street at night after receiving the news...he's ****ing ready.

:lol:...no...just ****ing no. As far as the other guys...I don't think they lasted enough rounds to show their "boxing" skills because they got KTFO. And as far as Shane goes...HE was outboxed from what I remember...double jab from what I can recall...UD from my memory. :deal

When the **** has Foreman ever "blasted" someone out?! :rofl:rofl

Wow kid...you seriously don't know ****. Out of 28 fights...he has ****ing 8 KO's...those of which have a combined record of 76-65-11

I doubt it. He could win. And Cotto would obviously "get tagged" as so many other ****ing boxers do, but it won't be an EASY victory as you put it.

:rofl:nut:nut:rofl The only grain of truth in there is someone in Cotto's team is ****ing up...and I agree. That's about the ONLY thing I agree with in this entire post.

You're a tool. Log off. :hi:

Not a smart move on Cotto's people side, especially that old man Bob Arum. Finishing the last milk of a cash cow and then done with it. An opportunist!

I guess I'm in the minority. I think Cotto is going to win, and easily. Foreman's not on his level and the disparity in size won't save him.

    Santos was totally shot.

I'm interested in how you know Daniel Santos hits harder than Cotto for a fact.

Don't bother, even though I enjoyed that. This thread starter is either completely kidding or he's really just out to discredit Cotto because he's a Pacquiao victim.

You are one of the biggest Cotto haters on this forum. Why because he lost to Pac and you don't want to acknowledge him as a good name on Pac resume. Most of the guys that out boxed him were KOed. Cotto out jabbed and out boxed Mosley re watch the game if you think otherwise. Don't bet your apartment on the Cotto-Foreman match because one good body shot can change everything.

I don't think that Cotto has that one body shot in him anymore, but I agree with everything else. All I see from Jacory is venom on a daily basis, unless the topic is Floyd Mayweather. You need to take his **** out of your mouth for a bit. Watch some boxing. Learn about the sport.

Im not going to respond to the obvious faults of the thread starter, VARG already did that :good

What i will say is as long as the people thinking Foreman is too much for cotto are giving cotto credit and respect should he win, i have no problem with people thinking that.... I for one think it will not be an easy night for cotto giving his first fight at the new weight class and i dont think foreman is a pushover (doesnt hit hard but i respect his dedication and albiet limited natural ability but underrated applied skill) and given Cottos obvious (in my eyes) decline.... it will make it an interesting night to say the least.

I wish Cotto wasnt going to 154, when a guy can make the 147lb limit when training properly (he came in 145 and 146 for his last two fights) i always see moving UP in weight a sign of bad things.

I am pumped for his return however and will of course be cheering him on, but i am very aware of the possibilities and probabilities, Cotto will have to, IMO, be on point this fight as usual (man cotto almost never takes an easy fight)

So again, as long as Cotto is getting the credit from those who thinks he cant beat Foreman... then post on.

    WAR COTTO!!!!!!!!!
