Cotto is going to look terrible @ 154. Foreman is a horrible style & will win easily.

get the **** outta here...Cotto will win this fight...Cotto has to suck a ton of weight to get down to 147...he will be strong and fit at 154...Cotto outboxed by Malignaggi, Shane, & Judah? Ummmm...ABSOLUTELY NOT...he destroyed Paulie and Zab...got caught with a few good shots, thats all...certainly was NOT outboxed...Cotto outboxed shane...**** outta here!

    I look at like this:

Foreman is a slick, gifted boxer. He's boring as all **** but that's mostly because he outclasses his opposition by using his superior footwork and faster hands. There's a really good chance he'll have that advantage against Cotto. Miggy is going to have to find a way to get inside and go the body to sap Foreman but I don't think he'll catch Yuri. Yuri doesn't have much in the power department but he when he chooses to let his hands go, he definitely has some sting on his punch and most importantly they're accurate punches. Cotto still has some lapses defensively and he doesn't seem to fight with his normal aggression. I could see him getting discouraged early and Yuri teeing off during the middle rounds, accumulating a nice lead and then coasting to a decision win.

This doesn't even address the difference in height and weight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Cotto has his uncle in his corner again to fix the deficiencies in his game. I wouldn't give up on him just yet. Cotto UD.

I don't know if you can count on Evangelista and Miguel to do anything other than fight. They've been having problems LONG before Miguel broke half the bones in Evangelista's face.

Margario wasn't the only one throwing bricks at Cotto. His Uncle was throwing them too.

cotto doesnt need to be discredited all real boxing fans, people who know the sport know cotto was good very good but not great, he lacked endurance, and fluent movements, the guy is a plodder who doesnt have dynamic ko pop that hurts you instantaneously he has thudding power that hurts the next day, he faded down the stretch of every big fight but i will say even though he is very overrated he did fight everyone that was put in front of him, no questions asked and has always carried himself very well in and out of the ring and for that i respect him. He is no tito trinidad

I really disagree with this. Look at the damage he put on guys like Gomez, Malignaggi, Judah, Quintana, Mosley and Michael Jennings to name a few off the top of my head. He may not have had one punch KO power (although name me a WW right now who does) but he was a damaging puncher who hurt a lot of fighters.

Edit: Forget the hatchet job he did do to Paulie's face.

Cotto and Foreman are in different universes. Foreman has been in the ring with no one close to the class of Cotto's opponents. Foreman is bigger , but thats it. Yuri doesn't have the skill or experience to take full advantage of his size.
Cotto will have a heavybag workout on Foreman.

That'd be all well and good except Cotto hasn't shown a consistent body attack since his fight against Alfonso Gomez. Even then, you may have to go all the way back to his Zab Judah fights.

I'm a Cotto fanatic. I'm hoping he pulls this off...but he has to overcome a lot of size, a decent amount of speed and a nice combination of technical skills to win this one.

Yori foreman!?! Foreman is a bobble head with a strap and everyone worth a grain of boxing insight knows it. First big name to the strap gets it. Cotto wins easy, destroys foreman and sends him back crown heights. Whoever wrote this garbage is shows either his hate or his ignorance of cotto. Foreman is a ****ing punching bag.

I'm quite in awe at Miguels tenacity,, if one man needs to rest and regroup,, **** maybe for the whole year due to circumstances mentioned its cotto - that he's goin up to fight Foremans impressive, I wouldnt bet against him (which is to say I havent seen enough of Foreman and bothn Cotto's losses in hindsight seemed at least somewhat dubious). Props to Cotto,, period.
