A couple of years ago, after Guzman brilliant display over Humberto Soto, I would have given Guzman a good chance of beating Pac. But Guzman hasn't improved since that time, and Pac has grown into a lightweight/welterwight monster, and is able to carry his power. So I have to go with Pac.

I probably should have said "better chance" and not "good chance", and specifically at 130 lbs.

Here are few fights that I wish Pac did fight at Jr. Lightweight or lower:

    Guzman
    Soto
    R. Juarez
    Juan Diaz
    Joel Casamayor
    Michael Katsidis
    Nate Campbell
    and of course...drum roll...Edwin Valero!!!

True pac has cherry picked unbelievably. And gotten two gifts against Marquez. I would like to see him fight a true junior welterweight.

Well I wouldn't go far as say cherry-pick, eventhough arguably David Diaz was probably the easiest champion to beat at 135 lbs. But if Pac did not fight Diaz, I would have liked Pac to fight David Diaz later on. But I understand what you mean.

I guess Pac had no choice but to leave the jr. lightweight division, if he truly wanted to create the legacy that he has now with wins over DLH, Hatton, and Cotto at lightweight and welterweight. A fight with Guzman, Valero, Juan Diaz, and Casamayor at 135 lbs. would have been awesome.

Yeah, those bums Morales and Barrera, not to mention Cotto, Hatton, DLH, JMM, Jorge Solis (you know how he had never been beaten before, so he couldn't be defeated ever?) and more..

Pacquiao would have KO'ed Joan at anytime and any weight. And I'm a huge Guzman fan.
