Which one? Vargas at his best would have beaten him I think. Just like he lost Honeyghan, Curry and Philips. Those where just a step above him. Still decent fighter but he wouldn´t have hold onto a belt in the times of Mazzhingi, Benvenuti, Dagge.

This Mazzhingi retired in 1970 and after three comebackfights again in 1978. So no.

nevermind the sham. He has no brains and lets his emoticons do all his talking for him

IMO Norris gets the nod based on ACCOMPLISHMENTS

    BEAT Leonard

    BEAT Mugabi

    BEAT Taylor

and throw in Brown and Curry for good measure

Hearns comes next. He gets in on account of his sheer talent at the age of 25 along with that devestating performance against Duran. Tommy would have been my #1 pick if he added Mugabi and Moore to his list of victims

McCallum comes next. He destroyed Julian Jackson as you know

Norris is up there among the top 10 no doubt. But personally i have always felt that Hearns and McCallum were #1 and #2 respectively.

    Good shout Al.

Can I just say that I give Gil Turner a good chance of turning Norris' lights out at the weight.

I still think Julio Cesar Vasquez would have broken Norris.

Hearns and McCallum would have checked his chin. They are rightfully the number 1 and 2 at the weight, while Norris might come in third.

Terry Norris ranks #3 on my top 5 middles with McCallum and Jackson at 1 and 2 respectively. No way does Winky Wright deserve to be ahead of Norris on any 154 pound rankings and that goes to Benitez as well.

McCallum wins but a fight with Hearns is 50/50. Norris beats every other 154 pounder besides McCallum and Jackson.

Gimme a damn break with that garbage, name me one damn thing Vasquez has over Norris?......If you wanna see how Norris vs Vasquez would have looked like please watch Norris fight with Vasquez fellow Argentinian Jorge Castro.
