De La Hoya: Mayweather-Mosley fight 'not too far' from getting done

There is also chatter coming from other places - Anti-Mayweather writer Michael Marley posting articles in consectutive days with quotes from Mosley camp "talks cordial" and then today "very cordial". Grand Rapids Press boxing writer posting on his twitter that the fight is a done deal.

If the fight was in serious jeopardy, De La Hoya would have been way more vague to manage expectations. None of them want more backlash from fans after the Pacquiao nonsense.

I have seen you in more Floyd Mayweather threads than any other. You are clearly the biggest Mayweather sack rider around. Haters are his biggest fans.

How many posts have you devoted to talking **** about Mayweather? I am sure it is quite a bit and you will not answer the question because you know it exposes you as a total Mayweather sack rider. Hater or not, you are riding that sack, big time.

If the owner of the promotions company dealing in negotiations between two fighters makes a statement concerning the progress of a fight, I'm more inclined to believe it as true (though not take it as concrete evidence) instead of calling it "no news."...especially considering they have more to lose than gain in bullshitting and saying the fight is being made when it's not in light of the recent GB debacle. Skeptics have their doubts about the reliability and likelihood of these negotiations resulting successfully (which I understand and kind of agree with), but to ***** and quarrel over whether or not there is worthwhile content in this article is pointless.

Take it for what it is. Oscar knows more than any of us I'm sure on how promotions are going. It's not a signed contract, but if he says one of the most exciting match-ups of the decade is not far from finished, I think its worth at least ****ing posting without the raging ignorant responses.

 

What's with the guys on this thread who don't want to see the May-Mosley fight made? Crazy sadistic *******s would rather have ammo for their **** talking than see a great fight between two great fighters.

 

I do not care about the criticism. I think it was funny that you talk about other people being "nut huggers" when you are clearly one of the biggest Mayweather nut-huggers around.

How many posts have you devoted to talk about Mayweather? I bet it is at least 60-70% of your post history.
