It's obvious it's JuanMa, Gamboa get's his KO/TKO's by speed with decent power, but mostly on the speed and angles he lands. Guys don't have time to react.

First of all, Gamboa is one of the most humble fighters out there. He may be cocky only inside the ring but outside he never and I mean never talks bad about any one and I have seen a lot of his interviews. Go to youtube and hear all of his interviews and you will see that he is the most humble boxer right now. And he has a lot to brag about, Olympic Gold medalist, World Amateur Champion and 4 times Cuban National Champ.

To answer your question, just looks at Gamboa's body and Lopez's body and then tell me who looks like a monster ripped and with wings like a cobra coming out from his side, it's Gamboa. There will definitely be someone on that fight night going out on a stretcher and it will not be Gamboa. Please tell Lopez to get ready to fight the one who " won " the event from where Lopez was " eliminated " in the opening fight, the 2004 Olympics...

Yuriorkis definitely has more KO power than JuanMa. He put Mtagwa down hard almost without trying, and Lopez did'nt actually put Mtagwa down as it look like Mtagwa slipped down with a Lopez punch. We will always talk about Mtagwa because he is the only one that has faced both of them. As a matter of fact, Mtagwa said before facing Gamboa, " please pray for me so that I don't get badly hurt ". Ouch!!!

My friend, just watch Gamboa VS Al Seeger and then come back here and tell us that Lopez hits harder. Lopez looks very skinny compared to Gamboa he actually looks like all bones and his " slow predictable and robotic style " will be his downfall against lighting Gamboa...

Boricuas have had many good World Champions ( mainly because Cuba's absence from pro boxing ) and that's a fact. It's not the same competing just against Mexico, USA, Colombia, Venezuela and Panama as the main powerhouse Cuba has not been there since 1959, but now they are returning little by little thanks to this recent big group of Cuban defectors. Puerto Rico has been very good so far and I am not trying to discredit them but now it's time for Cuba to shine and " re-gain " it's dominance in professional boxing...

Oh never mind, someone put the Gamboa-Seeger fight on top!!! Mann, that's really an awesome KO...To be honest, I was afraid that day for Seeger's health as he looked actually dead on the floor, thank God nothing happened to him...

 

u crazy...gamboa does not have more ko power than juanma gamboa is faster juanma hits harder sorry to tell u...so wat about seeger since u like youtube go on n watch all the juanma ko's all the first round ko's gamboa hasnt faced any quality opposition yet hes hit the canvas before and im on da gamboa express as well he looks niceee but juanma ko alone of ponce de leon who has never touched the canvas before was knocked down in the first round n imon the juanma express as well he throws alot of punches has a hell of a chin throws different combos hits hard as **** and hes not slow at all he needs to add a goood jab into there.i cant wait to c the fight!

 

The reason for that big change is because even the PR fans have realized that Gamboa is no joke. Before, 80 percent of fans thought that JuanMa was too much for Gamboa but now it's totally the opposite. People are not dumb, they can recognize talent when they see it...

To be honest, I would like Gamboa to first defeat Chris John, and Caballero if he is really interested in the featherweights now that Gamboa has made everyone clear who the boss is. After he hands them their first defeat BY KO, then let Lopez deal with the other top contenders in the 126lbs and then finally if Lopez pasts the test and is still undefeated, have them fight!!! Plus, Lopez showed " no real interest " in facing Gamboa anytime soon, as he said in his interview after defeating Luevano, he knows what's up...

My friend, Lopez looks super skinny and " without muscle " compared to Gamboa who looks like a " mini Tyson ". So what if he KO'ed De leon with one punch, I am sure that Gamboa will have also done that to him!!! Keep in mind that the most deadly punches are the ones that you cannot see or dodge and Gamboa has the fastest hands in the Wild West, not Lopez...

I'm PR but I realize that Gamboa would whoop the very limited Juanma who has many flaws. Juanma is simply just a world class fighter while Gamboa has elite pound for pound potential.

But to answer the thread question, I think Lopez is more heavy handed than Gamboa but as far as whose punches pack more power, I'm not so sure. I think if both Juanma and Gamboa were given the exact leverage they like on their punches that Lopez punches may pack more power.
