Luevano was tagging Lopes at will. Had Luevano had some more pop Lopes would've been in some serious trouble. With that said, I saw Lopes knees buckle on more than one occasion. Lopes is a brutal ko waiting to happen.

It would be in Top Rank's and Juan Ma's best interest to continue ducking Caballero as he would take that "0" off of Jaun Ma's unblemished record.

Ok, quick breakdown for those of you who don't know boxing or understand what I'm talking about:

Roger Mtagwa is a journeyman fighter, a bum who went nip and tuck with a fellow journeyman in his last fight and was almost KOed, (not to mention he was behind on the scorecards) but he scored a nice KO in the tenth round for the comeback win. Now, let me reinforce this, Roger is a great action fighter no doubt, but HE SHOULD NOT be giving guys like Juan Ma, who is touted as a world class fighter life or death experiences like that.

Roger Mtagwa is 26-13. Juan Ma is undefeated and top 3 in his weight class, but you couldn't tell from the fight. Juan Ma was staggered and hurt in the rounds 10 and 11, and almost KOed in the 12. Roger shouldn't have been in the ring with Juan Ma, let alone go the full 12, and almost score a KO victory. Roger walked through Juan Ma's punches, while scoring his own and landing a great deal himself. I know Juan Ma is still young, and has a lot to work on, but I don't see him beating any of the guys that Top ranked has lined up for him, Caballero or Gamboa. His power was overrated from the very beginning. He just isn't a powerful puncher, and his one shot power is overrated, and I attribute his KO of Ponce De Leon to him catching him cold and flat. He's not this monsterous puncher that he's been chalked up as. He's a volume punching, offense first fighter. The Mtwaga and Luevano fights knocked his status down a few notches in my eyes. Before he steps up to fight any of the top 126 lbers or Caballero he needs a few more tune-ups to work on his flaws.

"if he had more pop" always cracks me up.

have you ever thought that lopez knew luevano had little power before he even fought him? have you ever thought that lopez could have fought this fight on attack mode ibecause he knew he wasn't going to get hurt by luevano?

would you consider juan diaz a ktfo waiting to happen because he was hit with a lot of shots by paulie malignaggi?

also I think lopez relied too much on his power in his career anyway. he needs a better trainer or yes he will get Knocked out or dominated by another top fighter.

Gamboa beating Lopez??? Well, thats is very possible. They are both good.
KO waiting to happen??? You are full of ****!!! Anybody could get KO by a good fighter, its the nature of the sports.

Caballero?? Who the **** is Caballero?? Who has Caballero beaten??? Who pays to see Caballero's fights?? Where are his fans??? Why so many people talk about the Lopez Mtagwa fight buut nobody mention Caballeto's fight against Mathebula??? He fought Mathebula right in his backyard in PAnama and got a gift. Why don't they have a rematch??? Why wasn't that fight on TV??? Why, Why, why??? LOL, This thread is a ****ing joke.

    This.

The W over Luevano raized Lopez's stock IMO.
