How do Holyfield and Tyson both end up broke?

i heard he was once driving a porsche and it broke down near another car dealership. rather than get it towed or anything ( we can assume he couldnt drive it properly) - he simply threw the keys away - got out and bought another luxury car. thats pretty much throwing away 300 000.

these guys live in a balloon. its not real money to them- they re in a fantasy world.

 

The boxing commissions should pay Bernard Hopkins to teach fighters how to keep your cash in your pocket.

first of all people here talking **** about them are clueless. Most boxers come from humble and poor backgrounds. Tyson was promoted by Don King who is a crook and a thief that took advantage of every boxer he promoted. Tyson purses might said 30million in the press but he ended up keeping less than half of that. Don king would deduct training fees, promoting fees and a bunch of other crap that Tyson didn't now about cause he didn't know how to read a 20page contract. And his managers worked for Don King. Holyfields case might be the same who knows.

 

If Holyfield and Tyson had just saved the after tax money that they made by fighting only each other and placed it in a trust they would make $1 million each per year in interest income for life.

(That would at least buy condoms for Holyfield)
