Haye had just 3 world title fights, while Adamek had 7 (6 won). He is now fighting in the 3rd weight division. Adamek accomplished more and is better fighter. He proved that he is one tough guy.

No offence to Haye. I like him :good He is younger, so he may still develop his skills.

Great fight would it have been (Adamek - Haye)

Terry don't be daft, Mormeck and Macca are not any great barometer with which to measure a fighter. I am not saying Haye wouldn't have beat Cunningham, but Cunningham is better than those two, as is Banks, and Bell is on par with Mormeck, so it isn't like Haye's best wins at the weight stack up all that highly.

Frankly I think Haye decided to leave the cruisers at the right time for him, because there were some decent guys on the way up, Adamek included, but also fighters like Huck, Drozd, and Ramirez.

Well anyone picking Adamek over a klitschko AT THIS POINT is pretty stupid.. : )

I hope tomasz lands a fight with Wlad eventually because that would be a hell of a fight. Unless Vitali slows down, I don't think Adamek would do well against him.

Haye-Adamek is where it's at, tho

I think that Adamek has chances against Wlad and I am not stupid. Adamek is just far better fighter than the opposition Wlad fought in last years.

Like anyone Adamek must build up in stages. Fighting Estrada before Arreola is a good idea. (Fighting Golota before Estrada was probably a good idea, too.) Fighting Arreole before haye is a great idea. Fighting Haye before one of the Klitschkos is a great idea. Has to be done in bits, in stages, especially with Adamek being a former light heavyweight.

Re a move back down to cruiserweight. I bet if it meant a) a big payday, which a fight with Danny Green would be, due to live gate and Australian TV money; OR b) a premium TV date in America -- I bet he would come back down. Let's face it, he has to get the payday wherever it is. And the Arreola fight is not CONFIRMED yet. And he still has the Ring cruiserweight title. However, i think Green won't have the stomach for it. Not long ago he retired a few days before his WBA 175 title defense vs Garay. I think Greeny came back for money and wants to cash out in 180-pound catchweights for made up titles...BUT, what if, say, Godfrey gets in shape, sensationally KOs Cunningham? What if Showtime wanted Adamek-Godfrey? Would Adamek take that risk and come back down, if the money, if the TV date, was there? One last ttile fight...

He wouldnt take that risk. He refused to fight Wlad in June last year for a 1M$, because he knew that he must prepare to such fight. Losing so much weight is too big risk.

The sad state of current heavyweight boxing.

Thank god for Adamek. What happened to the days where all fighters were conditioned disciplined athletes? Nowadays you work your way up to a payday with the top dog and you're satisfied... pitiful.

Do you guys think Adamek could beat Sam Peters?

If he beats Arreola then Peters, I will give him his due credit at HW.

Golota has always been 100% up until he fought Adamek (and maybe against Bates).

If he can beat Arreola, he can beat Peter.

Of course that he could:goodAlthought I dont think that he will be interested in this fight. When he beats Estrada and Arreola he wants title fight. If he must fight with Peter in eliminator, only then it makes sense. He refused to fight with Wlad last year only because he wanted to be prepared properly to such hard fight.
