I just dont see how anyone could still defend Margarito... He was suspended for cheating, no way anyone could defend him. No need for argument.

 

actually guys the thing that HBO pointed out was the pink stuff on the left hand wrap. That's the evidence that they believed was the proof. Though find a pic of Chico Corrales after his fight with Castillo and the pink stuff is on his hand wraps also.

 

That is completey different. Resto had the protection inside the actual glove removed, and also plaster on the knuckles. Resto was walking around not taking off the gloves and kepted pulling away, then when Collins touched his glove, their was no protection what so ever.

 

the reason why they used that pic as evidence was because of the blood stain...when he was caught cheating the piece of plaster that fell out of his wrap had blood on the exact spot that the wrap had. They believed he may had used the same piece of plaster that night.

I'm not thinking Margarito is innocent with a shadow of a doubt, but I'm leaning more towards the fact that he is than he isn't. First of all, if he had something to hide, I don't think he would have been walking around with his wraps exposed for the world to see. Also, Pacquiao busted Cotto's face up just as bad as Marg did. Another point - illegal wraps or not, Marg walked through everything Cotto threw that night, and as we all know, he didn't have plaster on his face.

Whats so unusual about blood on wraps after a fight? If a guy gets a blister or abrasion on his knuckle, then it will bleed after awhile ,especially when sweat softens the skin up and rubs against his wraps?
