Not automatically. If he faces Mosley and beats him then yes. If he does not face mosley I don't think a fighter that avoids those high calibre fights deserves to be ranked in the p4p top ten at all. If PBF faces and loses to Mosley then the question gets tougher and more interesting. If they both lost their upcoming fights then who deserves #1 ranking? I would say yes, as facing the #1 ranked welter even if losing would have been more ambitious than facing Clottey.

Shutting out a fighter coming up two divisions when he had barely entered 135 to fight a full blown welter who did not even bother to make the agreed upon weight is what it is, nothing more. A good win. But Pac fought the better Marquez.

This is ******ed. Ok Pac and JMM both lightweights when they fought. So even if you say Pac couldn't handle JMM which is crap you have to realize its not the same thing. Simply because someone can make a weight doesn't mean they should fight there. Simply because a guy can make a weight doesn't mean he should fight there.

Look at Hatton guy routenly baloons up to 170+ between bouts does that mean he should fight at those weights, hell no. Now I know its not that bad but basically anyone will tell you that JMM doesn't belong in these weight classes.

So yeah JMM gave Pac problems when JMM was at his best weight and Mayweather beat JMM at a weight there is no way in hell he belongs at. There is the difference.
