A humble fighter is someone who doesn't blurt out excuses at the excessive rate Manny does whenever his opponent lands a shot on him. That's not a slight on the guy, but there's a few misconceptions regarding Manny Pacquiao's character on the General...I believe. For the record, Erik Morales is vastly underrated in the skills department by many a poster. His performance against Manny was nothing short of spellbinding, they both put on one hell of a show.
I met Manny years ago at the wbhof BANQUET a little after he kod ledwaba, he wasnt famous then but seemed really humble everyone was making a big deal of Bones Adams who happened to be right near Pac. Pac seemed Happy that i recognized him and thought how good he was. Well we know he has become hero to many since then, but i will always remember that about him before he was famous.
He's got an ego, no doubt about it. You don't go into show business, politics and whatever else he's involved in without one. I agree with another poster who characterized him as understated. But you gotta admit, he earned that ego.
