Im gonna go with WHittaker by a close decison 8-6-1 or 9-6. I think Basillio wins alot of rounds by out working Whittaker but WHittaker outboxes Basillio in the other rounds. I could even see this being somewhat controversial for those who like Basillios agressive approach. Wonder how Basillio would react to Whittakers clowning?

I think Basilio would grind him down, outwork him and win a close but clear decision. Basilio would make the waters deep for Whitaker, making it a very physical fight and he has a size advantage.

I can see that happening too,but im thinking Whittaker is too slick when he choses too counter Basillio.

I could see this ending in a controversial decision pretty easily. Ala Chavez draw. I say rightful winner, Whitaker in a close one, considering it's welterweight Whitaker.

Over 12 I would agree with you but Whitaker isn´t proven over 15, Basilio is. I think those three extra rounds make the difference.

    It´s Rukelie Trollmann.

I think Whittaker wouldnt have a problem in a 15 round fight, he never had stamina problems, and he was used to going the distance.

Never heard of that guy:huh Looked him up on boxing records and they have no info on him. Was he a pro?

True but never against a Basilio.

Follow the link and read the article. He is on boxrec, Rukelie is just a nickname. Look up Johann Willhelm Trollmann. But his record isn´t what is interesting about him ;)

Basilio was a bad style for Whitaker. Carmine was a Rythym breaker with good body and head combo's. Still this would not be an easy fight. I see Basilio pulling out the close nod with the better punching

I think Carmen could break Pernell down he is the bigger man who had endless stamina, over 15 I think Basilio wins a decision with him coming close to a finish in the championship rounds.
