This is a special show... Robert McCracken on his elite selection of the top amateurs... Kalle Sauerland on the Froch v Kessler venue... Ron Boddy on amateur selections... Tony Jeffries on Nathan King and James DeGale... Oisan ***an on his life in the ring... Julius Francis on his life in the heavyweight world.. David Haye on Ruiz and the future.. It's on BBC London 94.9 from 8-9pm tonight. It will be available on BBC iPlayer from tonight. Enjoy and adios.
Steve, Try and find out for sure if this fight ain't getting moved to Herning...! It's bollocks if it does...? Is Froch in a position to pull out if it gets moved if it was agreed to take place in Copenhagen...:think
steve could you post on here the link on the bbc iplayer ?i always struggle to find out and also is there any update on hennesy and tv deals in the future?
I've never been a massive williams fan but his guts are beyond question. Just watch the potter fight!!!
Hey Big Fella. If you could involve Mr McCracken in the section with Kelle Saurland that would be cool. Get both sides of the story. Push them both hard as it would be nice to know. My flights already booked. Nice one Bunce I'll be listening!!!
The show is not live - I'm on Five Live doing a boxing and drugs special from 9pm. So...no McCracken and Sauerland talk, no news yet on Hennessy's fighters and one way to find the show is to go to the BBC site and look at 'boxing' where there is a link. The Francis stuff is fantastic. Adios and enjoy.,
For those who missed it, like myself, here's the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p0062sd3/The_BBC_London_Boxing_Hour_28_01_2010/ It's not yet up, but that's where it will be when the beeb sort it out:good.
Do you mean the Five Live drug special and the news that Ward is working with Conte or the BBC London show? The drug stuff is harsh, but somebody had to tackle it. Adios.
bbc drugs in boxing was excellent steve. the only way it will ever get sorted is if the US federal gov makes it neccessary to get a liscense to box and promote directly from them, taking in the qualifications required by WADA and a clear pathway to a properly recognised, forceful and funded world governing body
