    we know he's one of the best hitters of all time, one of the best super middles in the best super middle era of all time, hard, tough ****er, destroyed iran barkley, brilliant war with eubank in his first fight, the mcclellan disaster, beaten when aging but a vicious fight for anyone in his prime

    Unfortunately? I think most people know him as the guy across the ring from Gerald McClellan when he finally met his demise for all intents and purposes.

    One of my favorite fighters of all time...love his style in the ring and he wasn't afraid to get in there with the best of the era.

    sad but true. he was post prime at that point anyway. it sucks that that tragedy may define his legacy, which otherwise may be HOF worthy

    One of the most inspirational fighters ever. It was his KO of Ian Chantler in '87 that got me hooked on boxing, at 7 years old! Win, lose or draw, Benn was always exciting to watch.

    One of the most exciting fighters ever,watching the guy fight was like a roller coaster one minute it looked like he was out the next hes knocking the other guy out.

    He might've won the second fight with Eubank I just thought he did more. It's a shame it went to a draw...:fire. He gets my vote if someone does a poll on if he should go to the HOF.

    best benn story ive ever heard was before the barkley fight they had some1 over by barkleys corner listening to the his cornermen before the first round.barclay said dont mind him hes just gonna come in and wing in a big right hand,so they told benn this and he said ****ing right i am fight starts benn comes out and clobbers barkley with a big right hand :lol::lol::lol:
