I still feel that way no matter how i break it down. I see Mayweather winning but an pre-margarito undefeated Cotto would have given him a long night.

I just disagree with the people that Floyd would have blown him out of the water easily thats all.

It would've been a good style matchup for Cotto. Not saying that he is better than Floyd but just saying Floyd is a fighter that would give Cotto the time to pick his spots behind that jab which is something Cotto likes.

I think this fight is a toss up and if the odds were something like what they were for Cotto vs Pac, I would have bet on Cotto.

  4. I agree 100% up until the last sentence. Cotto would got schooled so bad, that mu****a woulda came out the fight wit a PhD in asswhippinology. But I really thought Margo did not deserve to fight cotto and that we should have been treated to a fight between floyd and cotto.....but oh well, thats one of the reasons I call Arum a ******.

It didn't happen because Floyd retired and then Cotto lost to Margarito.

Cotto hasnt really been outboxed, just outhurt. For a guy whos fought great boxers like Judah, Mosley & Pac that says something. I think he would have done very well against Floyd, stylewise he probably is the best against Floyd.

True. Both of his losses were to aggressive fighters putting on a lot of pressure. The ones that went in trying to outbox Cotto have failed. That is another reason why i think Yuri Foreman will lose.

The crazy part Cotto almost fought them all, the guy will be miss and even his non-fans will be sad.

Cotto fights everyone. And that is what seperates real Champions from guys who win fantasy match ups. :good

Totally agreed. Mayweather avoided Cotto. Floyd probably saw what we saw; a fight he might lose.

it was a fight that was talked about alot. and people adamantly accused mayweather of ducking cotto but it kind of looked like cotto's people didnt think he was ready for mayweather. they never pursued mayweather like margo did. cotto vs. mayweather would be a tough fight for pbf. as cotto is a balance fighter who can pressure and box and is strong but overall, pbf wins as cotto has defensive holes and while his chin is not glass, it can definitely be dented and mayweather would hurt him more then once especially with those accurate counter punches. mayweather by either late tko or ud.
