Looks like it's pretty certain that Golden Boy will be announcing the deal within the next couple of deals and witht the Press Tour to beging next week in New York, with both parties having agreed ALL TERMS.

I know may/Pac had agreed terms for Pac to go back on the drugs testing however Mosely has said earlier this week that he'd do ANY testing to make the fight happen

    Fantastic!

I always wanted Mayweather to fight Mosley before Pacquiao. It was the next best possible result for the fans IMO once the Pacquiao fight fell through.

Yeah. I just wanted Floyd to fight SOMEBODY !

I dont think anybody (whilst being realistic) could EVER dispute the fact that he has immense natural talent. Up until the last year or so you could always backup the fact that he didn't fight particular boxers and you could even give him a break for having a tune up with Marquez (Although I don't believe he needed one the shape he keeps himself in). But after the Pac fight fell through then if he didn't take either Williams or Mosely I would have lost a bit of respect for him because I want him to prove without a doubt that he is the best.

Pacquiao rising through the ranks will bring out the best in Mayweather I hope/believe

I think Pacquiao is the one whos losing respect now after taking a pointless fight with Clottey.

My boner is starting to settle.

Would this likely be on Sky Sports or Box Office?

To be fair to Pacquiao he'd beat Cotto, Margarito was suspended, Mosely was tied up and Mayweather fight was at a standstill. There wasn't much out there for him and it's still a hard fight hopefully Clottey will actually try to force a win because there's no way he can just rest on his lorals in the way he usually does in fights

I think Mayweather has Mosely's number and wins with an impressive KO inside 6 rounds. I think both fighters will impress and connect with speedy shots but Mayweathers will carry more and cause lots of damage. While Mosely has been impressive over the last few years I think Floyd will be too bigger step up.

Like Carnage though, I hope I'm wrong and Sugar Shane does a number on the fooker

Mosely does not cope well with long layoffs. When he fought Cotto he hadn't fought in nearly 10 months and didn't look great and got beat. He then waited for 10 months again before fighting Mayorga and in reality if it wasn't for the late knockout he SHOULD have lost that fight, how the judges had him winning is beyond me.

For the Margarito fight he had less than 4 months off and looked superb. By May that fight would have been 15 months past and Mayweather is a complete step or two above the likes of Mayorga and is a step above the likes of Margarito who has had 1 stand out win in his career - the validity of which is seriously in doubt now.

Mayweather will break Mosely down with relative ease and punish him with his pinpoint accurate shots. Will Mosely be able to cope with Mayweathers acute counter punching and/or peculiar lead shots ? I doubt it.

I actually think Mayweather wins this at any stage of eithers career but now I would not bet on this going past the 9th. Mayweather will be out to prove a point here and Mosely's (while commendable) desire to get this on will inevitably lead to his retirement- In my humble opinion
