Lot of fights to pick from, what is it?

I took out the HW's from consideration because that would just spew a bunch of Douglas-Tyson posts.

    Turpin over Robinson.

More recently, the odds on Hopkins beating Pavlik were prohibitive.

    How big was Leonard/Hagler?

Some other fights that were big upsets...

    Michalczewski/Gonzalez

    Barkely/Hearns

    Tarver/Jones

    Montell Griffin/Jones?

    Darchinyan/Mijares

    Pac's had a few recently.

Turpin-Robinson has to be the right answer.

But Honeyghan-Curry deserves a shout out. Maybe Fritzie Zivic over Homicide Hank.

One of the greatest, non heavy weight upset I saw was in 1944, at MSG, when Al Bummy Davis, who was a 10 to 1 underdog flattened the great lighweight Bob Montgomery, in the first round with a series of left hooks. Montgomery was on the same level as Beau Jack and Ike Williams. The crowd went crazy....Al Davis though not a great fighter had the best left hook I have ever seen. Burt Bienstock

Were the odds against Hopkins worse than the ones against Mosley beating Margarito?

Honeyghan vs Curry was considered a huge upset at the time.

Would agree Turpin vs. Robinson being the biggest, but then Billy Backus winning the title from Napolés must be up there too.

    turpin vs robinson.
the only person not surprised was the leamington licker who said he knew he would beat robinson exactly the way he had.

Do people say twat in the States? Thought like 'wanker' it wasn't an oft-used term over there.
