****, i have not realized that shane's more than a year removed from the margo fight already and will be a year and 4 months by the time he fights floyd. i just wish that GBP did not cancelled the card this january and gave mosley a berto replacement as tune-up.

That would've been a good idea for Shane to shake out the rust and prepare for the fraud fight but once again GBP show what a bunch of amateurs they are.

i'm just saying, no need to be defensive because i just checked in boxrec when was mosley's last fight. but to answer your question, shane is older so "inactivity" would be more detrimental to him. again, props to floyd if he takes this fight, regardless of the situation.

 

yeah 6 months to a year should still be ok, but more than a year? well it would be good for mosley to have a tune-up preferably but imo mosley himself would rather sit it down and wait for floyd to fight him in a huge payday.
