    To save their life.

Basically, pot shotters, or low risk fighters that simply didn't ever flurry or string together combinations.

Higher weight class Floyd Mayweather seems to have an issue with this most of the time. :think:think

Interesting topic. In recent memory Brian Viloria. Going back, Tim Witherspoon lacked combinations, as did Iran Barkley, Sven Ottke, and Jeff Harding.

Barkley threw combos, doubling or tripling the jab and throwing something behind it.

I cannot stand Mayw. or his family, but, in the jr.light class he threw great combos. I think he potshots now because he is not really a strong enough welter and worries about getting hurt, which he will against Shane. even though shane will have not fought in 11/2 years.

Barkley did throw combinations esp. in the Toney fight but most didn't land.

Unless it was consecutive rabbit punches in close.

PBF throws tremendous combos when he timed his opponent or got pissed.

Others you could think of would be the Klitschko bros. or Zsolt Erdei.

bruno was a good combination puncher but not against mike tyson, who was too quick for frank.
frank knocked out the big anders ekland with a good combination and ratled witherspoon with some mechanicle combos if you look closly. he was not a natural finisher however, if he had a man hurt and still standing he would panic like ingo did, there was no instinct there to take over. but he did put in some good textbook combos. high one-two left hook to the body, left hook right upercut.

Hamed went with one shot a lot. Most guys who do that can't make it to the top level like he did.

The only correct answers will be obscure fighters with losing records. All top notch fighters know how to throw in combination. Some of them are just better than others.

Some fighters regress in this regard, but you can bet that these fighters were good combination punchers at some point. David Tua is an example of this.
