Ok so Roach, Pac and Arum are using the excuse that Floyd never wanted the fight in the first place and used the Blood testing as a way to get away....So does it make sense for Floyd to fight a more dangerous opponent in Mosley for not even half the money? Doesnt make any cents or sense. So really, who didnt want the fight?

Arum, he said it in the beginning and that media ***** wouldn't shut his pie hole for two damn seconds until he was able to bail on the fight.

I don't think Mosley is a more dangerous fight. I think Mayweather jumped at the chance to fight Mosley since by the time they go at it Mosley will have been out of the ring for a year and a half and also damn near 40 years old.

Well, only time will tell. I really hope Floyd goes through with the fight against Mosley - It'll be his toughest test to date - though with an older Mosley. Up until this point in his career - Floyd hasn't fought a fighter that I believed could beat him. As it stands now, there are only 3 fighters that stand a chance; Williams, Mosley, and definately Pacquiao. Will he fight them all is the question? He can make any fight he desires happen just like that. The likes of Trinidad, De La Hoya, Mosley, and others fought the best to prove their greatness. Floyd doesn't yearn for greatness as these fights once did and still do.

if anything, floyd was forced to fight mosley because his previous opponents that were paraded were not received warmly by boxing fans and an earthquake forced the cancellation of shane's fight. i don't see this as being related to the supposed pac fight.

He could have easily fought Yuri Foreman or Malignaggi...I dont think he was forced to do anything. At the end of the day the fighter is the one signing the fight. :good

what i mean was, maliganaggi, m.hatton, campbell were all reported as possible opponents for floyd. he could have stick with any of them but due to pressure from fans, he cannot afford to fight someone lesser now. and berto pulling out is a breaktrough for floyd that he could have a good legit opponent that also would give him enough compensation.

Mosley has physicality and arm length over Mayweather... In that sense he is more threatening than Pacquiao.

It's not like Floyd has other options. Who else is he going to fight?

Remember that Floyd already dissed Shane just a few months ago and here he is now forced to fight Shane.
