JMM is past his best, is almost 37, his best weights are 126/130 and isnt going to be that good above 135.

Great fight for Khan to get a name he has no business having on his reume

I just hope they are not judging JMM on the Mayweather performance coz thats more of a testament to Floyds skills than Marquez getting past it. He is the bigger man (amir) but Marquez is a great counterpuncher and should be able to land a few on Khan without too much trouble. I just hope Marquez doesnt get beaten simply coz he is too small coz Amir will be very lucky if he manages to become half as good as Marquez has been.

Im predicting a Marquez KO. Khan has still never fought anyone even near Marquez level and guys like Salita are not gonna prepare a fighter for opponents like JMM.

Too many people are, sadly. Marquez is still a huge threat to Khan and I don't see this as an easy fight for Khan unless he follows Mayweather's blueprints. - Coming from a Khan fan.

Khan has a very potent offense, enough to actually hurt Marquez. the longer the fight last the more it is in Khans favour.

If Marquez happens to win it will be due to a counter that could come at any time. If Marquez has what it takes to win, then he'll have shown by the mid rounds for sure.

I think Khan would outpoint him. His speed of hand and movement will be too much, combined with his reach and Marquez preference of fighting off the back foot.

JMM does not have devastating one punch power , so enabling Khan to have the odd mistake.

JMM is a former p4p no 2 as someone said, it just was not at light welter. There are plenty of 140lbers i think would take Khan i justthink stylistically Marquez is not one of them.

And no its nothing like taking on Tszyu

I disagree, Marquez is known for starting slow in fights and coming strong late on. This is a very difficult fight for Khan, he has never been in the ring with a counter puncher on the level of Marquez. Even as a blown up welterweight he still managed to land flush on Floyd's chin a few times.

Khan has a chance to blow Marquez out early, however, I see Marquez coming on strong late on and knocking Khan out as the more likely outcome.

it'll be a ****in tragedy if khan gets an overweight marquez's name on his resume, jmm should not fight above 135 unless its a huge fight & khan isnt a huge fight but it is winnable.

Love it how people say JMM should not fight above 135, yet vs Floyd JMM agreed to fight at 145 with Floyd weighing in at 146 and God knows what weight he was on fight night 150?

Khan will weigh in around 139 1/2 at most that's around 6 1/2 pounds lighter than Floyd was at weigh in, at least Khan will give now a natural 135er JMM a fighting chance at 140.
