I would figure that the clause is part of the hype for this fight. It just makes this fight sound more meaningful than the other fight. I would imagine that if Shane beat Floyd convincingly that the rematch would lead to a huge payday for both fighters.

Only threw the scared thing out there because as i understand the Floyd asks for a rematch clause and Shane doesnt. Why ask for it? But as i said i could be wrong and from what i now know it seems pretty common place for Floyd fights to have rematch clauses so all good

Mosely. A 38 year old warrior who was beaten by Cotto, the guy who Pacquaio destroyed. This fight is built up way more than it should be. Mosely isn't a PRIME young hungry Welterweight he's a 38 year old veteran who hasn't fought since Margharito. That's a long break especially for someone of his age.

This rematch clause also ****s Pacquiao a little bit.

If Mayweather wins, he will probably look to face Pacquiao and will have the leverage in the negotiations. 60/40, random blood testing or the fight doesn't happen. Most will think this is reasonable. If not, he can give a rematch to Mosley (assuming he does OK in the first fight) or give a chance to a guy like Bradley and the public will be cool with it.

If Mosley wins, he will have to give a rematch to Mayweather leaving Pacquiao dangling and left out of another big fight.

Pressure is on you, little Manny.

Or you could say Mosley is the man who destroyed Margarito in his last fight, a man who earlier destroyed Cotto and had him cowering down in the corner.

Mosley is the linear champ and the man to beat at welterweight.

Good point, and if Margarito doesn't get his license back then Pac will have little options of who to fight next.

I'm not sure Wlad would make the 143lb catchweight.
