I think Floyd's toughness is very underrated and underappreciated. It's true that Shane has SHOWN toughness more obviously in his career than Floys has, but that's also because his style forces him to a lot more than Floyd's style forces him to. But i think Floyd has shown plenty of toughness when he has needed to.

i think thats a misconception...i think floyd has underated toughness mainly because he has so much finesse ...

he easily matched hatton for strength and manhandled hatton as much as hatton did him

He has only been wobbled a few times in his entire career he has a good chin...

Mosley is very tough but i would count on him being "that" much tougher then Floyd

You think Dane Cook is funny.

This factors heavly into how seriously people can take your opinions.

Did you really see that fight? PBF went up in weight and yes he was overly cautious but ODLH didnt do much at all. PBF won that fight easily but either way Shane has a chance and a good chance at that we will just have to see what happens in the ring!

I think Shane will start off strong but Mayweather will soon adapt to his tactics and go on to win by UD.

It's all about strength here. After DLH, a fight in which Floyd did not look good or comfortable at all, it seemed he didn't want any more of any big strong fighters at 147. He fought Hatton, retired (when there were calls for him to fight Margo, Cotto, Mosley, P.Williams) then fought JMM in his comeback in the hope of luring another midget Pac into a megafight. When Pac looked super human in bashing Cotto around, Floyd suddenly got second thoughts and the fight was jeopardized due to his unprecedented demands and was cancelled. I don't think he wanted to fight Mosley, but he backed himself into a corner and now he has to. I think he is in trouble.

Floyd hasn't fought someone as strong as Shane. If you think fighting someone who has extreme punching power, quick hands and can benchpress 300lbs is equivalent to embarassing him, I think there is something wrong with how you think. You cannot even compare how Cotto fought Shane to how Floyd will fare. Judah was the common guy between Floyd and Cotto. Floyd won a clearcut decision while Cotto tsunami'd his ass.

i don't think mayweather will embarass mosley, it will be a good fight. if mosley is to win this fight he has to make sure that when floyd is boxing he doesn't get the better of him, he has to make floyd feel that if he is to win the fight then he has to stand toe-toe and trade punches like what he did at times against hatton.

mayweathers plan will be to box for around 6-8 rounds and then once he believes he has a good lead, he might begin to trade more often. that might be his plan, but he's going to have to produce a great performance to do it.

Respect 4 Mayweather ( and 4 Mosley) if the fight comes to be officially signed up and nobody pulls off. The random blood and urine tests are logical after what happened with Pacquiao. Now, it's gonna be a real fight, not just another test for Mayweather's untarnished career. I will give a 50-50 chance, even odds ( pick'em) to start with but I fancy Mosley to outfight Floyd.

    I agree.
I dont think Mosely has any chance.
He was awful in most of his recent fights, except v Margarito, who played into Moselys strengths looking for a strength war.
Mayweather will win this very easily.

Ive got Floyd winning by a UD, I think he will outwork and pot shot Shane for 12 rounds. I think this fight will play out similar to the first 6 rounds of Oscar Mosley II, with Mayweather using a good Jab and a lot of lateral movement to confuse Shane.

    Which is the truth.

Shane is not prime, old and inactive so excuses WILL be made and rightfully so.
