    Mayweather and Mosley reach agreement for fight on May 1st By Seth Green: ESPN is reporting that World Boxing Association welterweight champion Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. have reached agreement for a fight on May 1st, at the MGM Grand, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The contracts still haven't been signed, but are expected to by the end of the week. The fight will be shown on HBO Pay-Per-View. Random blood tests will take place leading up to the fight. Mosley, 38, is on board with the blood tests and has no problems with taking them. The winner of the Mayweather-Mosley fight could end up facing Manny Pacquiao. HOPEFULLY!

    lol at these joyboys. posters like bladerunner are the one who put pressure on floyd to abandon his previous plans of thinking of fighting matthew hatton or malignaggi. if not for guys who criticize floyd and we've just left with guys like you who are contented with floyd fighting overmatched opponents, floyd would have continued his cherry picking ways. :yep

    true moreover I'm sure that a lot of Floyd fans (not all of them) were happy with seeing Floyd shut some blown up JWW or Lightweight in his next match

    I think him fighting Mosley might be to do with the earthquake in Haiti freeing up a more suitable opponent rather than feeling pressured into taking the fight by reading bladerunners insightful posts on here.
