cotto has a very good and as of late a very underused jab. hell he was snapping manny's head back on a few occassions during the fight he just never came behind it with anything and that was that. he can also rip to the body. i see both of those weapons landing on paul early and cotto doing good work early.

but just like the margo and manny fights, he is very vulnerable to just being broken down. paul usually responds to adversity by just turning up the volume and i'm sure he'd do the same against cotto. i'm not sure cotto can withstand that, especially at 154 where paul has to be stronger. but i'd pay to see it.

I have noticed that also. It's like, when he gets hit hard, his only remedy is to say "**** it!" and start gun-slinging. You gotta like that about him, but I don't know if it's the best strategy all the time.

all signs point towards sergio. i don't like it but there really isnt anything left. its a tough fight that kelly should win imo despite all talk to the contrary...but the risk/reward is very low from where i'm sittin.

allan green is now in the smw tourney...this means bika is left holding the bag. i'd almost rather see him step in and take that. i know that weight hopping isnt what kelly's camp wants to do but if it is going to happen at some point, then why not.

both sides have shady excuses, so no one can really say why it fell through. i still think kp wins by ko though

Occasionally, but I saw Pacquiao neutralising it more with those whipping right hooks over the top.

What excuse did Williams ever give for the fight being called off?

They were jerked around twice and decisded not to deal with them again. Don't be silly.

i saw that too. manny was just too much. cotto pumping the jab wouldnt have changed the outcome but he does have a good jab.

Martinez will make KP look bad KP better get him out of there early KP lack of movement lack of speed and allowing fighters to hit him with ease will be a problem

I can't wait for this one. I just don't see how Kelly will be able to hit hm. And I don'e see how Kelly will be able to avoid getting hit flush, several times.

martinez may be darting around early like he was against paul but even when he's fresh he's vulnerable to being dropped as paul showed. also, martinez faded in that fight bad and in the later rounds was moving in straight lines and was really in survival mode as williams was turning it on. i see pav being able to take him out at any time in the fight based on what i've seen.

Historically KP has shown that he isn't as good above 160 so it would be in his best interest to stay at MW! Plus KP is one loss from oblivion!

I agree with that. I think Martinez hasnt been hit with the power that KP will hit him with, will wear down trying to avoid it, and get caught. That being said, I think it will be it will be a difficult fight with SM winning a bunch of rounds early.

Sad to say, all signs point to Pavlik-Williams never happening. Too bad, I like both guys and would like(hate) to see a fight between them.

I wouldn't mind seeing Williams-Cintron. Williams late TKO or UD.

As big a fan as I am, Cotto would be foolish to fight PW.

    Just felt like sharing.
