Regardless of what you think of mayweather. Every boxing fan will agree, mayweather vs mosely is a much better fight than pacman vs clottey. I honestly believe if promoted properly this fight will do huge numbers, obviously not the same numbers as floyd vs pac, but I believe better numbers than pacquiao vs clottey. Its not just the steroid issue, pacman refused to fight mosely at a catch weight. I honestly believe a convincing win by money may over the linear welter weight champ shane mosely propels floyd to pound for pound king regardless of the out come of pacman v clottey. Plus, once arum takes his share of pacquiao purse floyd will walk away with a much larger payday as he should because he is in the better, higher profile fight. A win for floyd over mosely is a win for floyd over team pacquao as well. I believe this will be extra motivation for floyd as he would love to stick it to his former promoter bob arum.

Mosley isn't the linear champ. Not to mention, Pac beat the guy who beat Mosley last. I agreed it would be a huge win for Floyd, but one fight shouldn't shoot Flloyd past Pac since Pac is also fighting a top contender.

Mosely is the linear champ he defeated Margarito who beat Cotto. Cotto and Pac fought at a catch weight so how could he be welter champ. Clottey fight will be pac's first fight at true welter 147.
mark mcquire would test clean under current testing policy that means nothing. he is fighting shane because he agreed to olympic style testing which pacman refused.
