    I never bet on it, just knew it was those odds (I had no money but I predicted it in the prediction league so I was gutted :yep).

    Yeah he was, I remember the day before the fight my EMA had finally come in after a long delay and the first thing I did was put £100 on Hopkins to win, I thought I was buying money, which turned out to be correct. I particularly remember my mates reaction who thought Pavlik was the 2nd coming of Jesus.

    Had a fiver on Mosley to beat Margarito, had a feeling he might stop him but wasn't confident enough to put a bet on that outcome.

    I got 4/1 for Sexton to win.

    Anyways back on topic, Vargas/De La Hoya. Vargas v Mayorga, which was a totally meaningless fight, actually became quite appealing after all the trash-talking and press conferences.

    Good call on Vargas/De La Hoya.

    Some of the things Vargas said about DLH were disgusting..... I've always liked DLH (though found some of his antics annoying) so it was pretty good to see the cheating, mouthy, horrible ******* well and truly put in his place.

    Michael Gomez vs ........ (insert name of any opponent)
    George Foreman vs Michael Moorer

    I remember Ryan Barrett telling the world and his wife that he would destroy Amir Khan, only to be KO'd by pretty much the first punch he took.

    The build up for mayweather Hatton was pretty funny with all the trash talking...will never forget the line "stop tutchin me nob yer poof." Reminded me of a primary school lunchtime dispute :lol:

    Like what? I know that Vargas was slaughtered for the 'real Mexican' comment but I don't know anything else that he said.

    In reference to my other suggestion you could put Vargas and Mayorga into the 'Gomez category' of any opponent being able to hate them, so God knows what them 2 must think of each other.
