Im tired of people talking about Manny is so special kus he came from 106. He got knocked out 112. Then there excuse is "Oh he was Malnutritioned". If he was so was Floyd Kus they both weighed 106 at the age of 16. All these damn Excuses that dont even make sense.....

Pacquiao was lineal and WBC champion at 112. When he was only 19 years old

Lineal champion at 19 years old, the first of 4 lineal championships and titles in 7 different divisions overall.

From what I understand he landed a good shot on the champion in a fight in which manny was losing. He also was KO'd by two average fighters at those weights. I don't understand why he gets all this credit for those wins but his fans want to act like those losses never occurred.

MP is special because he has achieved what he has today without the benefit of having any amateur fights to help him get started.

personally, i dont care about all that.... im not one of these fans that gets all that impressed with capturing trinkets throughout weightclasses....

what impresses the hell out of ME, is one year he was fighting at 130lbs.... when talk of fighting Ricky Hatton was met with laughter and ridicule, the next year hes not just beating hatton, but oscar, cotto and fighting joshua clottey. And not just beating them, but destroying them.

    Thats what impresses me....

Yea cause the Philipino 106 weight was top notch huh?

Fighting pro's at 16 meant nothing until he stepped up.

That's not hating to call what Pac did at 16 against "pro" fighters so great, is stupid. The fighters he was fighting were horrible, you know that, I know that, everyone knows that.

Just cause he illegally started fighting early on means nothing. he fought horrible fighters, oh wait, let's not forget that most of the fighters in his first 10-15 fighters were only 3-5 years older.

    Ok fine then

Pacman started beating out horrible pro fighters at the age of 16 and Floyd started beating out horrible pro fighters at the age of 19, which is the same age that Pac won the lineal flyweight title.

PACs balls are good enough for WW while PBF is just about to grow his for Mosley. PBF and Ellerbe now has separate bedrooms to allow it to grow.

My point is fans of those fighters acknowledge their losses whereas Pac fans make excuse for his early losses and even his loss to Morales.
