    Better boxer than Shane Mosley????
I think a lot of people will disagree with that.

    Sure I have.

Diego Corrales 33-0, 28 KO's (at the time he fought Mayweather).

Considered by many to be pound for pound the hardest puncher in boxing at the time.

    -----

Jose Luis Castillo 45-4-1, 41 KO's (at the time he fought Mayweather).

Pretty widely known at the time as a hard puncher(for obvious reasons). No less perhaps than Shane Mosley.

    -----

Oscar De La Hoya 38-5, 30 KO's (at the time he fought Mayweather).

His punching power is on par with Shane.

    -----

Zab Judah 34-3, 25 KO's (at the time he fought Mayweather).

Zab does not have power in both hands, but his left hand power is on par with Shane.

    ----------

    Shane has power, but its not as amazing as some people make it out to be. In the last eight years, Mosley has KO'ed;

    -----
Margarito - Defends with his chin/tampered glove enhanced offense.(Clottey probably could have gotten rid of him if he didn't break his hand, the type shots he was landing)

Mayorga - Once known for his chin, but it was never the same after Trinidad tapped it

Vargas - Was never known for his chin and NEVER recovered after Trinidad tapped it.
    -----

Lets not act like Shane is Trinidad friends.

:rofl Like JLC wouldnt have lost to forrest at 147 and Winky at 154 for ****s sake. Dont forget JLC was a huge 135 lber who decided to stay there for a long time while Shane jumped up and fought bigger guys.

I cant believe people give him **** for loosing to Winky at 154. Most guys would have lost to Winky there. DLH and PBF both would have lost to him. Forrest would have given PBF and very hard fight as well and would wipe the floor with JLC

at1 has a very valid point about the fans on this forum.
Things that have been said... mostly by mayweather fanatics:

Mosley doesn't hit as hard as judah/corrales/castillo/oscar
Mosley can't box as well as castillo
Oscar vs Pacquiao was a catch weight
Manny Pacquiao takes steroids because he didn't sign up for olympic style drug tests
Marquez vs Mayweather wasn't a catch weight because it was in the WW division
Tyson movie "was like a documentary... only with interviews"
Mayweather or Mosley would have schooled duran at lightweight
    Pacquiao is scared of needles

The list goes on and on.
Most of the fans on this site know about as much about boxing as they do about spelling and grammar.

    ?

Hate comes from the same place fanaticism comes from and that's infatuation. Judging by your avatar, you are obviously a Mayweather 'Fanatic' yourself.

I never said "Mosley doesn't hit as hard as judah/corrales/castillo/oscar". That is a fanatics(haters) interpretation. I said in so many words that there's no reason to believe that Mosley hits any harder than any of those guys do. If you feel there is, come with facts. I couldn't care less about being biased towards one fighter versus the next.

Edit: LOL at LukeO for changing your avatar....

Chalk me up to one of those that believe Mayweather will make easy work of Mosley.

Mosley's lack of a jab is really telling when he faced elitely skilled fighters.....they were magnified in his fights with Forrest and Wright, and really was made to look like a rank amatuer for his lack of the jab.

Mosley is a hell of a fighter, but he needs boxing skills at his age to compete with the likes of Mayweather.

Its too bad we could'nt combine the skills of JMM and the physical strenghth and power of Mosley to matchup against Mayweather........I think that would have been the antedote to get Mayweather beat.:D
