nothing to argue here. pac has been fighting almost all the best and taking-up risks while moving-up. just short of two years ago, people then are laughing if ever a fight with hatton, oscar, cotto, shane and floyd are proposed. now, he had beaten some of them and will be fighting the winner of shane-floyd if he gets pass clottey.

 

this is a slap in the face to all the Pac haters who always said he wasn't any good.

 

that is what will happen if you avoid the eilte welters of the past 3years. too bad real boxing fans knows that floyd's "0" is probably a product of cherry-picking opponents.

nah ***** it was the part where he KTFO Barrera, knocked Marquez in his ass 3 times in a single round and then beat him in the rematch, KTFO Morales twice, dominated Larios from start to finish, nearly killed Hatton, forced Oscar into retirement, made Cotto his *****, and wrecked total havoc on every one he fought since 2001. The part where he won 4 lineal titles, 3 fighter of the years awards, and titles in 7 divisions.

It's clearly based on the last couple of years. You'd have to be ******ed not to think so. Dont get me wrong Pac is a good little fighter but of course Floyd deserves it, he's won every fight he's been in in the 00's, Pac hasn't.

Yeah. Still doesn't mean the people who voted didn't just go with the biggest fighter of the past few years. Also the "Good Guy". It's a predictable outcome, but not the right one to me.

You're right about one thing, its a predictable outcome because that dude has earned it more than anyone else.

 

It is not how you begin, but you how finish. Every great athlete will tell you that. If you are going to give it to the first 5 years, Barrera says hi (Hamed, Tapia, Morales x2, and Ayala).

Floyd has been sleeping in the last 3 years. Retirement and the JMM bout put him in second place. If he had 1 or 2 decent match (say Margo) and 1 great match (Mosley or Cotto), he could have won it, or at least the voting would have been closer.

The reality is PBF slept in the last 3 years. The JMM match, while he looked good, is a non consequential bout. Pac improved his performance and level of competition and closed the 2 years with great bouts.

Who cares about awards? You *******s are reaching to make yourselves feel better. Fighter of the decade? He is a cheat! He uses steroids and weight drains his opponents. If manny is so great y did he RUN from a fight with mayweather? y is he fighting a bum and mayweather is fighting the best ww that roach even says is far to good to match with manny? This year we'll see who the greatest fighter of this era is and hopefully pacs team finally admit to pac steroid abuse.
