Hearns from the first Leonard fight had too much stamina. He would have not faded as Shane did while trying to chase Cotto around the ring.

And what people fail to realize about Hearns is that he could actually box.

He doesn't have the chin to withstand the thunder, the one-punch power to get lucky, or the stamina to keep running.

If Hearns doesn't get him out early, it will look like the Pac-Cotto fight, but even more shameful. Pity stoppage by Round 10

Cotto would be put in a comma in that fight.

He is absolutely the worst choice up there. His KO wouldn;t even be entertaining. It would be pitiful. He doesn't talk enough **** for me to wish that on him.

I think he would beat them all but Mosley and DLH have the best combination of skills and chin to do well against him.

Dont forget that Hearns had very fast hands, I can see him catching Pac and PBF. PBF could make it 12 if he runs and is very cautious but he wont have any chance of outboxing him on the outside.

Cotto, Mayorga, Pac and Margo all have too leaky of a defense, they will be caught by hearn's accuracy and speed.

I think Hearns vs Tito and Mayorga would be very entertaining with Mayorga getting his ass kicked, likely Tito as well but he has a chance to hurt Hearns due to his power at 147.

DLH is likely outboxed and outworked but makes it 12 for sure due to his chin. He could have some moments but his tenancy to slow down in the second half of the fight will surely cost him.

Mosley likely wins the most amount of rounds and doesnt get dropped but I think he would loose a decision.

I voted Tito for "most exciting" cause there would be some great exchanges and he has that chance to stop Hearns due to his power but Hearns has to be favored for his accuracy and speed advantages. Cotto/Mayorga/Margo would all also be entertaining but they would be outgunned and dont have the chance Tito does to win.

    Nice work.

I think people forget that Hearns was actually a really fast, skillful boxer who just happened to have a right hand that could flat out kill you.

I think he was unfortunate to have come up at the same time as Leonard. He lost one and should have won the other. I don't see anyone else in that entire era, or this one, that would have been close to favored against him.

I disagree. Pea is the hardest match up for Hearns here and has the best chance of beating him. He as an ATG jab with ATG defense he would prove to be a hard puzzle for Hearns to solve. IMO Hearns outclasses Oscar and Shane.

Yeah I thought about him a bit but I kind of ignored him in the line up because I started watching boxing around 2000 and really only seen some highlights of him so thats why I kind of ignored it. :thumbsup

I think DLH for certain would be outboxed and his problems slowing down in the second half would make it heard for them. Shane certainly would be outboxed. I just think they fair better than the other guys cause I think they could make it 12 without being dropped if they are on top of their game.

Really outside of Whitaker, then I think Tito has the best chance of a win because he has the power that could bother him and score a stoppage if he is lucky. I dont think any of those guys can outbox Hearns to a decision.

i hate to say it but its true, hearns is a nightmare for cotto, or any other welterweight today.

i think tito would give him a good fight though, he is big and tall and can bang.
