roach also said cotto would be pac's hardest fight & a bigger challenge than mayweather would be.roach constantly contradicts himself these days.
and.... when Roach says that Floyd don't want the fight with Pac and when he says that Floyd is a coward, you also agree with him?
What kind of "cherry" was DLH before they fought?, if anything it was Pacquiao who was looked at as cherry and probably less than cherry going in that fight according to predictions, thoughts and odds. Even going in against Hatton and Cotto the majority considered both fights 50/50 because they were playing delusional about the DLH fight because it was THAT shocking.
so they didn't want to fight the guy that Floyd is about to fight, but Floyd is "scared" of the guy they didn't want to fight? exactly, how does that work out?
Hatton was 50/50. Cotto was NOT 50/50. Your point is well-taken, but you don;t have to exaggerate to make it
I remember Roach on the Radio just after the Ricky Hatton fight, and he said regarding Mosley "Mosley is very strong at 147 but I also know he struggles to get down to that weight, so if he were to fight Manny Pacquiao we would have to agree to a catch weight of 145 he is going to have to give something up to fight Manny, I have to look out for my guy, he is the smaller man"
And yet.. somehow people blatantly ignore these words and brush them off as "Oh that's just Roach talking"
You are typical of the fan who is not in the know of this sport. You project yourself as a person who knows this sport to others, but you're just another ******* to me and any sane boxing fan!
You have you expect that I mean come on look at the people were dealing with here, this is not your average true fight fan, when Manny Pacquiao retires, they will leave with him...
I remember an interview with roach a while back saying he didnt like koncz choosing the fights and having so much of an input because he knew manny better and knew the styles manny performed best against. Say of that what you will
Floyd fans because of dearth of material with which they can discredit pacquiao often depend on speculations, guesses, unfounded allegations, and deliberate lies. this thread by Rooney is one vicious example of how floyd fans lie, speculate, and make rumours like professional ***gots in showbiz talkshows lol. proof: Pacquiao Clottey news update from the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood Freddie Roach has insisted to Telegraph Sport that Manny Pacquiao will fight Shane Mosley if he defeats Floyd Mayweather (although Money is yet to sign the contract) but the four-time trainer of the year believes it is Mayweathers fight to lose. I caught up with Freddie Roach yesterday. How is Manny Pacquiao shaping up for his contest with Joshua Clottey ? He has sparred twice, he looks really good, he knocked out one sparring partner and we have four other sparring partners in here at the moment. Pacquiao weighed in yesterday at 147 lbs. Roach is studying Clottey intently. Clottey is very basic, he does the same things, but he is very good at what he does, but Manny is going to knock him out. He has a great chin, a big right hand, but Manny knows how to nullify his strengths. The big question, of course, is whether Pacquiao v Mayweather will ever happen ? I think it will happen, and it will be Mannys next fight. What has happened may make the fight bigger. I think Mayweather will fight Shane Mosley, but if he doesnt, it will make the fight with Manny happen sooner. If Floyd does fight Shane, thats a good fight, and one Id like to see. But Mosley will be beaten by Floyd. Mosley does well with guys who will come at him. He has had trouble with guys who move. Mayweather wins that fight. But Mosley is a brave guy.
