Boycotting Margarito's future fights?

I agree. Sadly though Margo is going to eventually get on a major major PPV that will force you to watch him essentially.

Pac-Clottey I won't be buying, it's not interesting to me. Specially with Clottey coming off a loss to Cotto, and his trainer has still yet to get a visa.

But if Margarito was put on the Mayweather-Mosley card, I would still buy it. And talk **** on him the whole time.

I believe Margo knew what he was doing, and played dumb and blamed his trainer so he didn't take such a big hit.

 

The way Margarito was treated, and railroaded without so much as a legitimate investigation, in the future I will go out of my way to watch his fights. When he starts beating people down again, I will be on here giving him his props. Don't bother flaming me. This is the only time I'll come on this thread.

As fas as the original question. I think Margo got a raw deal also. But I am watching this fight for one thing and one thing only...

Agree completely. Margarito has been unfairly maligned and accused of all sorts of things in other fights, without there being any evidence to support this. This is disgusting witch-hunting of the worst variety, and is unfortunately all too common among boxing fans.

 

What is up with that deal though?
It almost does seem like there was no investigation done here. They basically just said they had found traces of plaster like substance. Not that there was plaster in the gloves. I was very disappointed when i heard this as Margo made me a fan of his after fighting basically all the top WW.

His fight are usually very exciting and i will be watching again.

Dont hate so much on him Newb. Blame the commision for not doing a thorough investigation.

I would buy Pac-Clottey if I had the cash probably.
