FMJ needs to get this deal done. There is no excuse for not making this happen. I even said that they were "suspiciously" silent about the whole thing. Hopefully it gets done quickly (before the Super Bowl).

However keeping things in perspective, it has been five days. The promoter wants to, understandably, get some Super Bowl hype. This could just be his way of pressure.

 

I wouldn't worry about it too much right now. Remember how long it took Hagler to sign his contract to fight Leonard. You gentleman are right if he doesn't sign it then it looks bad.

 

I think he will sign it, he's just holding out! Then again he could be looking for a way out.

 

I don't know what goes on inside his team, but I do know that Mayweather loves doing **** like this. Keeps people on their toes and him in the position of power by making people chase and wait.
