Everyone with a brain knows Hopkins will win, either by KO or by a wide UD

Jones is spent, Hopkins still has some left in the tank

Thats all the is to it

Is this Hopkins way of ducking Dawson??

Just another money fight. Money is the only point. They know if they put it on, we're all going to watch it. As much as I'd like to find something else to do that night, I doubt I'll have the will power not to order it.

Money, Hopkin's is a business man as much as a boxer and has been for years. He deserves it, regardless of what boxing fans want to say about it. He know he doesn't have much time in the game.

Beyond that, Hopkins simply wants to beat the **** out of him. Real bad blood between the two, probably more so Hopkins towards Jones.

Reminds me of the Hagler/Leonard feud, one fighter starting at the bottom, another starting at the top and being a bit "spoiled". Hagler ****ing hated that, imagining Hopkins does as well considering he came from ever lower levels then Hagler ever did.

    Fixed.:good

Seriously though, even though Jones is shot, I still give him a chance against hopkins. Hopkins style is a style that suits Jones...as long as he doesn't totally fade away in the later rounds - this same style albeit in a younger RJJ has already beaten Hopkins clearly and I see it still giving Hopkins fits espesh early on..and we all know Hopkins also really is shot to. His style gets him by but look at his punch output...he's well past his sell by date also! Hopkins isn't a noted puncher so the risk of KO'ing Jones is not high IMO.

I still think its a fight worth watching even though they're both well faded. Its a grudge fight and Hopkins wants to get his revenge. And its still two big names. Look at all the talk and excitement there was about a Tyson v Holyfield 3 - even though both were shot to bits when this was being talked about! It will still sell and they know it and thats why despite Jones losing in devastating fashion last time out people will still pay to see this swansong fight for perhaps both fighters.
