Exactly, I mean if they're so confident, why not take a bet...Hell I'm not even asking for money...I'm asking for a ban bet...If they dont want a lifetime bet we can always do a 1-3 month bet, but as you stated these clowns wont even do that!:-(

    hmm
I already said I will not believe in it until it is actually happening. IE they are in the ring and the bell has rung.

all this "fuss" is because mosley signed his contract 5 days ago. because floyd hasn't yet signed, he is ducking mosley. or so they would have you believe

He probably wants to sign on the last minute and make a big fuss out of it. if the fight does not happen it will certainly hurt his legacy and you can't blame boxing fans that he is ducking potential boxers who has the ability to get his first "L"!

On the other hand, I believe PBF will win this one. Mosleyat 38 is a great boxer but Mosley now is totally different from the Mosley of 28 to 30 yrs of age. He still can beat any class B fighter but pbf is much younger than him. PBF will win by UD but don't count Mosley out. Like I said he is still a threat to anybody! Yes! Even to PAC!

But at the end of the day, I can't give 100% credit to PBF if he wins simply because the win (in case he wins!) was done on the later part of the boxers career!

Like what happened to calzaghe! He won over Bhop and RJJ who had a great boxing career but thewin was a bit too late and shallow coz the win was done on the tail end of the boxers career!

Theres 2 points to this question: ( was hoping to get more response)

    1) With your assessment, I agree. Unfortunately the current bias of public opinion is that, Mayweather once again found a way to avoid a big fight. And with this bias against him, he has no option left but to take this fight because Mosley seemed to have agreed to all the stipulations for the fight. He won't have anybody to blame but himself.

    2) Sooner or later he needs to realize that "MONEY" is not everything, especially to a person blessed with such a talent. He would have to realize that "LEGACY" means something. Especially when you're OLD and your talent have left your person, your LEGIONS of "friends" are gone and money does not mean anything to you anymore.

It would be "Legacy" that will buy you a cup of coffee and a good conversation from a stranger when you feel alone, money will not buy RESPECT but "Legacy" will and ultimately I think, this is what Mayweather really WANTS.

He has to take this fight both for reason of MONEY and LEGACY.

    ......and for ME!!!!!......:smooch

If Mayweather doesn't sign this then his reputation is finished.

I hope this is just for promotion and hype, PBF strikes me as quite smart (despite what ESB posters might claim) he would be an idiot to think he could get away with not fighting Shane at this stage. Unless Clottey is about to drop out of the Pac fight which is about zero chance of that!

Well i for one hope he signs and its a go........If Floyd doesnt he will severely hurt his rep and make all the naysayers who call him a coward look like they have an argument.
