His resume does not back up his resume. He is desperate for some big fight since he knows his career is probably not going to last any longer.

According to an article on the scene, Paulie was the first one to talk **** about Khan ducking Maidana and Khan then got pissed off enough to respond. Paulie has been doing a lot of talking lately, first bitching about Pacquiao and then bitching about Khan ducking Maidana. I think it would be a good fight though and unlike some, I would give a lot of credit to Khan if he beat Paulie. Make it happen. Forget Marquez, he's too small for 140. Fight Paulie or Maidana! I wasn't really sold on Maidana at first cuz he is a bit one-dimensional but then again, when you've got power like that, all it takes is one clean power shot.

 

That's the way I feel too, Malignaggi-Khan promoted correctly in NYC would do well, and I think either man wins a close decision....and is harder fight for khan then maidana, sure maidana can punch, but that is it...

I think Khan wants to fight all these people, but somebody is telling him no, and I think it is freddie roach....Roach has said he thinks his next big star after pacquiao is khan....Pacquiao really became a star once he beat morales, and the rest is history after that....I think this is why they want the marquez fight for khan....Remember when they were talking about morales-khan:nono

False. With Khan's fighting style, you ABSOLUTELY do. And his reference was to "outclassing." See the subject.

 

like two girls arguing over whos handbag is prettier. both are good boxers- this is actually a very very interesting fight when/if it gets made. both have very similar physiques, speed and quickness. khan can crack harder, but then khan also has that chin. so the whole power /chin issue is pretty much neutralised- cos one cant hit- and ther other cant take- so i say its even there. speed- i think kahn is faster. and more athletic- but paulie moves a little better - is a little slicker.

and in terms of heart- i htink paulie - depsite looking like a girl- has real balls. fascinating fight i say. i cant pick a winner.

He blamed Buddy McGirt for his loss to Hatton, just like he blamed his corner for the Cotto beatdown. Which is why he hired McGirt in the first place, firing the trainer he had since he was 16 in the process.

Suddenly after Hatton schooled his ass, and after Paulie called him a club fighter, McGirt was to blame for making him worse as a fighter? No, it's because Paulie is B level fighter at best, with good speed but average skills. He will get his ass handed to him by any of the top guys at 140. Khan is on a different level to him. He doesn't have to talk **** to get attention or attract good fight. He would tear Paulie a new one.
