If Floyd signs now, they can get a bigger publicity by announcing their fight during the Superbowl. Very few publicity can top that. This is the reason why Schaefer is frustrated now because he wants them to be ready to announce the fight during the Superbowl.

Sucked in Schaefer and GBP. Mayweather has an imprint of your lips on his ass cheeks, you were kissing his ass so much in the Pac blood testing fiasco. Maybe if you were a little firmer with Floyd and his bull**** the Pac fight might've happened. Hope he does sign soon, but If he pulls the same thing with Mosley you can't say it's not deserved.

He will use the waiting game and the Super Bowl to hype it. It is too obvious as a marketing ploy.

I agree. The Oscar fight not being signed was no big deal. They already fought and it was not a great fight and not disputed much. But Shane and Floyd have not fought yet. Floyd knows that if he does not sign this fight the boxing fans will always see this as proof that he is ducking tough fights. That will make it too obvious that he doesn't want to fight a tough challenge. He will sign.

I will hate and resent Floyd if he does not sign for this fight, however, even if Floyd fights Matthew Hatton next (which I would not watch and would absolutely hate) I would never ever, ever become a Pacquiao fan. That guy is a clown, and a farce. Though the popularity is good for boxing, his skill set and Tough Man competition style of fighting is lame.

floyd will sign it, and the reason why it took him a while... we'll never know.

yeah, it' absolutely lame when fighters punch their opponents hard in the face. they should always try to punch softly and just score points like malignaggi and calderon. knocking out opponents is completely stupid.

Perhaps Mosely refused to agree to throw the fight?
