A few days is all he'll get. If it isn't signed in time for him to fly out the the Superbowl, everyone will know what's going on.

These thread are great to pull out at a later date. Once the fight is Signed, and again after the fight. Once all the people that are now claiming that Floyd is scared to fight a REAL fighter, change thier tune to OH Floyd knew that Mosley was shot that is the only reason that he fought him. Its another case of handpicking. Thing is many of you cats that arent *******s have been playing both sides of the fence, before the fight its stuff like this, after the fight its a different song. *******s arent boxing fans so they havent been around here very long.

Dont know, and Im not that worried about it. Seems to me that those that are worried are the same ones that dont want the fight to happen in the first place. And dont give me that crap about everyone wants to see it, because they dont. Pure floyd haters and *******s simply want Floyd to go away, and they are the ones that are eatting this **** up. Its really not a big deal Shane just signed the thing late Friday, its not like its been two weeks or anything, its be two freaking work days.

Schaefer is worried, to the extent that he's talking about options for Shane if Floyd doesn't sign soon. We all know promoters exaggerate, but to see cracks like this between Floyd's camp and GBP is alarming to say the least. It's not something to brush off and treat like it's a non-issue.

I don't know about everyone else, but I want to see this fight. I don't like Floyd, maybe it's his off-the-ring persona, but most probably it's because he has avoided real challenges since climbing to 140, but I'd be genuinely interested in this fight. Mainly because I'd like to see how Floyd deals with a top welterweight.

But Floyd's gotta sign first, and show up in the ring against Shane.
