    I actually disagree.

Sorry im not being pedantic, but I just dont see why we should be allowed to pay for things and not voice our opinion if whatever we've shelled out our cash for, doesnt meet up to our standards.

Darts i think is abit different, as its always a lively atmosphere with alot of drunken banter between the fans, nothing too serious. Football i've already mentioned & big brother is mainly 14 year olds in the crowd doing it. But getting back to your original point, yes it does seem to have become more 'fashionable', but how else are we meant to portray our dissatisfaction at whatever it may be??

Thats also the impression I get. I have seen him being interviewed with his dad sat close by and he is sensible with his words. When by himself he talks 100% **** and thats why people boo him (plus his performances in the ring are not very exciting).

when degale comes out and says he'd knock-out nikolai valuev then its hard not to dislike him.gavin actually has raw talent unlike degale who has a big head.defo helps that he has the football following from the birmingham lot.similar with tony jeffries and sunderland

there is only one instance where booing is acceptable and that is at football when the ref is walking off at HT or FT and he has been ****. otherwise never.

Then call the fighters/players ****s or whatever. Sit in your chair now and booo and listen, its pathetic isnt it? A noise that a 5 year old throwing a tantrum would make not a grown man.

Im just merely stating that as paying consumers, we're entitled to our opinions... however you choose to voice it is down to you. But personally, im a boo-er, maybe with a few expletives thrown in to boot. Different strokes for different folks i suppose.

As has already been said, people boo the persona and the bull**** talk. It comes across as plastic and it's never going to be popular in England anyway, we don't take to that **** like the americans do.

He really should let his fighting do the talking.

Merely winning the gold medal at the olympics and the expectation it creates didnt get degale the dislike he gets from some quarters in the boxing, its the attitude afterwards that does. Same with audley, both got massive praise, exposure, tv appearances etc after winning gold but talked up their chances straight away, in audleys case without backing it up period and in degales case with that dreary showing in the nia and before hes' had any success.

Frankies shown maturity since turning pro, i mean people could have gotten on his back 4 missing weight and the olympics but see that he's an honest hard working pro who doesnt mouth it off b4 hes achieved anything. Cant help but like the kid so no if he was a gold medalist he wouldnt be booed like james is (only british amateur world champ, theres enough expectation around 'funtime' already!)

4 the record yea im sure degales persona is exaggerated, he is clearly a lad with a lot of self-belief that comes across as arrogance but its more pantomime that anything. Hey its a role that eubank had alot of success with and if james does it right it'll improve the excitement around his fights and the kids bank balance.

On the subject of being able to boo, its a person who's spent alot of money to get a good shows perogative however it can be counter-productive ie the fighter could be affected and as a result even fight worse. Not my cup of tea but i have sympathy 4 someone whos spent their hard earned cash and not got value for money

If people wanna boo then they should be allowed to boo!! They've paid there money and entitled to there opnion.. I don't think you'll ever hear a boo when Frankie fights though!! This kid is the best and most exciting fighter in Britain bar none!! He can fight, box, move, avoid punches by cm's and also can punch and not to mention the great body puncher he's become over the last year..

I remember speaking to him the night he was set to box Tishenko and I was fighting the next day and was sitting there with Arnie and Crolla when the phone went, I said it's Frankie and for the next mins I was convincing him why he was gonna beat Tishenko!! His last words were do you really think so?? To which I said I know so!! Good luck!!

This conversation will always stick with me and look what he went on to do!! Frankie is so talented it's frightning.. When he starts the 8 and 12 rounders people will really see how good he is!! Only 50% has been seen so far!!:good

:good Well said bomber. I couldnt believe it when I read frankie's always asking anthony farnell, his missus, other fighters like yourself whether he was gonna win. This kids supremely gifted and u can see y he's got such a big following. Its the talent, work-ethic plus modesty that earns people's respect.

Good luck with your next win on 12/3 Tony

I was at the gym the other week and watched Frankie make a decent domestic rival look like a novice. Superb. The lad had fought for domestic honours and Frankie looked about 20 classes different :good
