Funny you should say that I showed my collection to my father in law the other day and straight away he said to my missus that she could be sitting on a gold mine here, ****ing big mouth. She's already putting pressure on me to get rid, make the place a bit tidier. I did think though that maybe I should tell here which ones could be worth something though just in case I pop my clogs. Did I ever tell you that I've got the 2 Robinson Turpin programmes? . Anyone got any idea what I might get for them?
* Martin Vargas (a longtime contender in a deep 70's flyweight division, gave Canto two very tough challenges.) * Georgie Abrams should be mentioned, if he hasn't already. Not an easy out for anyone in the middleweight division, and could easily have won the strap in other eras. * Eijiro Murata (drew with both Chandler and Pintor in title challenges at bantamweight)
Packey's been in the IBHOF for over 18 years. Can a near charter HOFer validly be considered as forgotten? (I realize the thread is asking a tricky subjective question, but it just seems to me that anybody in the IBHOF would be essentially disqualified from consideration here. That's precisely the function of a hall of fame.) Ruben Castillo and Ed Viruet were as well known as any lighter weight contenders of their day. Fans who came along after their careers were over might not be aware of them, but even casual sports fans knew who they were while they were competing. Castillo had too many high profile title challenges, and Ed was a colorful provocateur with a big mouth, something of a mini Ali in that respect. (During his stunning late career knockout streak, his post fight interviews were just as entertaining as his matches. He was cocky enough to bad mouth anybody. In fact, I'd go so far as to say he was the best interview in boxing during the early 1980s. I loved his antagonistic rantings and threats after he retired Norm Goins.)
****ing hell, you've got me worried now. Our kid just pointed out that I've just told everyone i'm sitting on a gold mine. Don't tell them you've got a Lonsdale belt here as well atsch.
Do not ****ing give into her nagging. Those things are important to you, obviously. Don't fall into your pitfall of typical housewife nagging over something important to you. Its irrelevant if she doesn't acknowledge they're important to you.
Man went 25 rounds with a enraged Duran. I bet you that hook off the ropes from Rosario shut him the **** up Duodenum. Carbon copy of the LaPorte knockout of Lockridge actually, both super tough guys as well.
