I get your point Jimmie, but some of the poor ****ers earn $1000 for getting their arse kicked!! And it's not as if they fight every week!! Call me a sentimentalist but I wish mma fighters and boxers (Of all levels) earned a far more than they do.

I'm willing to bet that Manhoef is under contract with someone else and was on a loan type deal. There's no way, with his name, that he only gets 5k.
Some good pay days but I cannot condone the $2,000 pay. That doesn't really pay for anything. You put in 2 months of training for what. If you have a job then finding extra time to train for $2g is hard. I don't think fighters should be paid as much as they are UNLESS an organisation takes over combat sports to ensure fighters fight the best. If that is the case then pay em everything.
