ok this is what you do

    1. avoid training for strenght and power
    2. consume 4 g of protein / kg of body weight per day
    3. 8 to 12 reps every set
    4. focus on forearms and calves (this is where punch power comes from)
    5. tie a 20 kg plate to your **** with fishing line and perform 4 sets of 12 '**** ups' to strenghten against low blows
    6. dont eat carbs
    7. avoid all boxing related training etc and focus only on bodybuilding
    8. take down the ali and tyson posters and replace with ones of jay cutler

on the contrary bro its perfect for beginners since it stresses technique and slow but steady ramping up of the weight like virus said..

u start at 0, just a bar, then its up 2 u, add 1.25-2.5 kg each week skys the limit.

stronglifts would be too much volume on top of typical boxing training. No one I know goes (boxing) for less than 3 days a week and it would just lead to overtraining. 2 days a week focusing on the basic 6 movements (3 per day, 3 sets, 3-5 reps) with complete rest in between sets would be a better way to go. Strongman training is also a great substitute if someone didn't want to build a strength program revolved around traditional weight training and bodyweight exercises.

what do you mean start at zero? just a bar and add 1.25kg-2.5kg a week? that'd take forever to get up to any appreciable weight.

alot of good coaches dont know **** about strength and conditioning, thats why boxers have seperate conditioning coaches.
