hope he still has enough in the tank. his fights vs adamek were what got me to be a 'die hard' boxing fan.
Prime Briggs I agree would beat Green up but who knows what condition he is in now, I read somewhere he retired due to problems with his nervous system which doesn't sound too good for a boxer. Also Green is pretty dangerous now at his current fighting weight.
Exactly, 3 years layoff and coming back to another division may be too much. I do not think at this age and with his style he will have much succes at CW... even against Green I do not see him as a favourite.
Green will KO Briggs. Which sucks coz they're good mates and two of my fav boxers. Deserves the pay day though.
I hope Briggs gets a good medical clearence before he gets back into the ring. I still thing Briggs 4 years ago beats Green....but now after 3 years off....Briggs will be pushing **** up hill.
Yeah man Briggs/Green 4 years ago would have been a pick em fight at least, but I just think inactivity will show its toll in this fight now.
