Yeah, hard enough fighting Floyd, never mind himself at the same time.

His jab worked on Margo, because Margo has slow as **** feet, no head movement and has no ability to counter. You can give some credit to Nazim, and say Shane is now different, but I don't buy it. It's Margo's lack of speed and defense that made Shane look like superman. He was tailor-made for Shane. Shane had the PERFECT game plan too and the ability to execute it, but that doesn't take away from Margo's weaknesses.

Look at Shanes' head when he jabs, and even when he throws combos and his right hands. Straight up, never moves.

If Shane gets hit with a shot from Floyd on the button, that he doesn't see coming....he will feel it.

I am a Shane fan and think Shane will be robbed of a greater performance in a UD for Mayweather. After all the Mayweather vs. Pacman fight looms around the corner unless Shane can knock Mayweather out. I believe Shane has to go for the knock out and has no chance with the judges.

Spot on brah! The jab is hella fast and you'll see shane double or even trippling it up....but it's not a hard or imposing jab and you're right.....his head is mad stationary when he does it. Grant it...He's usually out of harms way when he's jabbing, but Floyd could very well capitolize on that habit from Shane. We'll see if Naz fixed this problem.

One mistake and that's all he can come up with.

This is a joke fight. Mosely has experienced this glorious resurrection...but who has he fought? Answer, guys that are much, much slower than him. It's clear that still has the experience to beat up on slower, younger fighters. But against Floyd he doesn't have a chance in hell. He'll be out quicked all night and he'll lose a lopside decision. Then again, this is the fight that Sugar Shane has wanted and he deserves it. Hopefully he'll earn himself a nice payday. Really, that's all he's looking for.

It's not how hard you get hit that matters all the time its where and when:good

Agreed. Not only that but one fight doesn't cover up for the 40-ish fights Mosley has had as a professional where his jab was absolute ass. Nazim Richardson is an awesome trainer but he's not going to magically turn Shane into an amazing jabber. It's not possible. He might be able to modify it a bit but guaranteed when Mosley gets frustrated and/or in trouble, he's going to go back to doing what he had done for years. Everybody falls back to what they know in times of peril.

And for the person who commented on Floyd not taking away De La Hoya's jab, I concur. That said Oscar's jab is outstanding. Shane's is merely mediocre.

That's the basics of boxing. Anybody can lose the strength that holds one up when he's hit unexpectedly... Of course, he will feel it... just like Ricky felt in that 10th round, Cotto felt against Manny and Pac doesn't hit harder. But the same goes for Mayweather if Shanes presses the trigger first like he did against Hoya in that first round of their 2003 fight with a left hook... And don't tell me that Floyd eats a shot better than Margarito or Mayorga. No way in hell!

Floyd's chin is underrated but I see your point.

That said Floyd isn't going to put himself in the position to get hit like that.

    Only messing.

I agree. Mosley has to be pro-active, and not think too much and wait for the perfect opportunity. Needs to apply educated pressure with the goal of getting Floyd late on. If just keeps setting himself, getting caught, setting himself, getting caught, it will be a frustrating night for him.

I agree. However I see this as the only way any of Mayweather's punches are going to affect Shane (apart from a rhythm breaking jab). He doesnt have any real power.

Mayweather's power wont have any influence on Mosley. His speed may though

I say Floyd has a good chin but he can't take all those shots that put Margo down and Mayo out in the last seconds.

What you said and what most would say emphazises that Floyd will not stay to absorb and fight back - he will be constantly on the move and in my reasoning, on the back foot and along the ropes.

I would argue though that that's where he's most dangerous. He hurt DLH while leaning up against the ropes, KO'd Hatton while being trapped in the corner and is just a deadly fighter when he looks cornered.
