Someone told me the landscape looks like a scene from "Night of the living Dead" but I would have to see it myself!!

 

It was all last minute after the orgs gave Kelly an unreasonable amount of time to defend his belts once he couldn't make the Williams date. It was what it was.

 

I wouldnt expect u to understand but it isnt a very pretty picture. wish that pavlik would have fought elsewhere. all g ood i understand these things happen

probably more had it been atlantic city or somewhere else. his hometown is in a real rut and unfortunately ALOT of people wouldnt be able to come close to watching that live

 

Really, I don't think that is it really. The whole affair was rushed, in a poor venue (bleacher seating), the university was turning away people that showed up wanting to pay cash. No time to build excitement for the fight. Opponent wasn't that good. Close to Christmas. The first fight had more 'novelty' to it because it was the first title fight ever in the city so that helped carry that. I think Kelly will still get the support when things are back to normal. We shall see....

I think the reason why he had a good showing at AC with JT is because they were both "superstars" at the time!!

Since then he has had a bad 2 1/2 year stretch for what ever reasons and loss alot of casual fans. He still has his Ohio based fans but I personally think they've dwindled down quite a bit too!!

 

That's how relevant Paul Williams and Kelly Pavlik are!!!!!

I think if/when he gets a big win under his belt, his fans will return from all over. It's not chic to be a Pavlik fan now with all controversy of the past year and a half.

Actually I never said Pavlik didn't have power I said he doesn't have this "great power" like most of you Pavlik fans swear by!!!! Pavlik does not have Abraham power!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you took time to read the post I clearly said he has good power!!!

No -- KP does not have the concussive, one-punch, power AA has, but what he does have is a higher KO ratio against generally better oppositon. There is more to knocking people out than raw power.
