Normally I would root for Miranda, but I won't root against Bute unless he fights Pavlik.

You just are hoping for a big buildup for a Bute/Pavlik showdown.
Just think though.... What IF.... What if Miranda KOs Bute and becomes the IBF Champ and looks phenomenal in the win? He then beats Bute in the rematch and looks just as good.

Now I know most of you are thinking, nahhhh, not possible. But it looks like 12.61% of you can see the picture.

Now we got a big ass showdown in a Miranda / Pavlik rematch. That is my dream. I will not live a happy life until Edison gets another shot at Pavlik.

Wake me up when this dream is over.....

I think Bute will blow him away within 6 rounds. I see it as a mismatch and would be flabbergasted if Miranda wins this.

Miranda is already mentally ruined, no trainer will change that.

    Did I say that? :D

No no no.... He is far from mentally ruined. His is confident as hell and truly believes Goossen is the answer to him getting over the hump.

Performance is the only thing that will lose Miranda this fight, not his mental state.

To be perfectly honest with you I think KP should stay at 160 for as long as he can make the weight without risking his health. He is in a good position to do what Monzon, Haglar, and Hopkins did: Just rule the middleweight world. The division is weak at the moment, but it's going to get hot in 12-18 months. During that "waiting period" he can fight Martinez, hopefully Williams, and whatever mandatories they put in front of him. The middleweight championship of the world is not something you just toss aside.

Lack of talent is the only thing that will lose Miranda this fight ...

Bute is just too talented to lose against a guy like Miranda. Only a lucky punch can bring him the win.

I don't know about "the already", but it could be...if he is not, he only needs the right game plan and Goosen should be the right one to teach him some nice strategic stuff.

Wow, Brinkley fights Curtis to face Bute next and Miranda is thrown in instead. Got to love it. Not that Brinkley has a chance to win, but why call it an eliminater? Well, maybe he has a chance. Anything can happen in boxing.

Good point, but damn it was about to get signed and Miranda fell out of the sky. If number one and number two fight in an eliminator, the winner should fight the champ next. I forgot to mention that you also have to have a kickass lawyer to force the title fight.

If you look under the official definition of 'Elimination Bout' under any of the sanctioning bodies you will see 'An Elimination Bout is sanctioned to a particular bout as another excuse for us to make unnecessary money from an event that we normally should not stick our hands into the pot'

You really like Miranda and i respect that.
But the 12.61% you mentioned is probably a good number to evaluate the possibility of your dream coming true...

Anything can happen. We've seen more shocking things that Miranda koing Bute...

Just don't bet a lot on that...

    Bute mid to late ko.
