Exactly. All this, let's pressure Floyd and be aggressive is only playing into what Floyd wants you to do. Be aggressive so he can pick you apart by his supreme counter-punching. People like to use that JLC fight, but anyone can see that it hasn't worked for JLC in the 2nd fight or no other fighter since.

I agree. In bursts and make Mayweather come to you. How do you make him come to you? You have to get up early in the cards and somehow make that translate to Floyd's corner so they tell him to fight like they did toward the end of the JLC-1 fight. And when he comes at you, you have to be a good counter puncher yourself. Now all of this is easier said than done, and I don't think Mosley possesses the skills to make this necessary. Should be an entertaining good fight, but I see Floyd winning UD.

    LOL@my post getting deleted.
people here can't stand when others have opinions.
automatically get labled as "*******s" or "*****s".

i think rounds were close in the first fight and i wouldn't call you a moron if you scored some rounds for castillo that others scored for mayweather, ie. 3rd round, 5th rnd.
i had mayweather 4-2 through 6 and the next 6 i had 3-3. making it a one round win by mayweather. i could see how some rounds went the other way.

but this fight will be nothing like the castillo fight. Shane fights nothing like him, never has and never will. If he does it wont work because mayweather is more defensive now than he was then.

And you PBF haters act as if the first fight JLC beat the **** outta PBF and knocked him out. It works both ways.

Log off. Pea-Chavez was a one-sided schooling and a true robbery. PBF-JLC was a close fight that could have gone either way, big difference. Tell that bull**** to someone who doesn't know the sport.

Hopkins is actually normally right with his predictions. This is just complete waffle he's saying here though. No actual strategy talk.

I think he lost the 2nd fight. Then again, I don't claim he beat Marquez twice, while people will claim floyd beat castillo twice.

It was actually better than I expected. I was expecting Hopkins to talk a bunch of **** on Floyd and hype up Mosley for obvious reasons.

He didnt really say much in the way of his strategy, talked up Nazeem a lot but I dont mind that cause he is a smart dude. Said he should have been trainer of the year and I can agree with that.

pea-chavez was actually pretty competitive, there was a clear winner but it wasn't a 12-0 shut out, you probably never watched it.

    Two things.......
In that first Castillo fight, Mayweather was fighting one handed.
His workrate dropped past the midpoint because his hands were hurting, and Castillo came on strong to the body.
You look at the rematch and its night and day. Castillo was never in that fight.

.....and secondly, Mayweather is a smarter fighter now than he was then, and he's fighting a 38 year old, not a prime JL Castillo.
